Funky Bunky

Funky Bunky began one night when long-time friends Greg Dean and Aaron Zon were talking about building a bunkhouse for their kids. It had to be something fun and a little bit different. Greg had been building custom homes and Aaron loved to build things out of wood. The goal was to build a useable space that was anything but boring; a space that was not just great to be in, but also great to look at.

That’s how Funky Bunky was born, and their recent success has been no surprise – they’re both past successful entrepreneurs who started Funky Bunky with three core principles they wanted to follow:  High Quality Construction, Superior Client Service and most importantly, Fun.

Every Funky Bunky sparkles with the charm of angled walls, tilted windows, and a sloping twisted roof. Customization with colours and themes is also available.

The Funky Bunky playhouse comes in two standard sizes: a 4’ x 4’ model and a 4’ x 6’ model with a 2’ porch and awning. With no plastic to crack and no metal to rust, these houses are built for outdoor use in yards or on decks to ensure years of fun. The Funky Bunky is hand constructed out of safe, non-pressure treated wood, with cedar for the base and shingles.

Funky Bunky playhouses come shipped in 8 pre-built pieces that take about an hour to assemble with basic home tools, or you can choose to have it assembled for you.

Funky Bunkys can be built to order in several sizes, from doghouse to full size bunkhouse for your cottage. Use your Funky Bunky as a storage shed, pool change house, art studio, pump house, ice cream shop, or anything else you can dream up.
