I was lucky enough to receive 9 products from Coppertone this past week and perfect timing too! As soon as I opened the box I was immediately drawn to the continuous sprays of the adult Ultraguard and the Coppertone Kids. According to Coppertone, the continuous spray is the only way to spray…and I have to agree. The spray went on clear with no mess and no rubbing! It took all of 30 seconds to cover each person! We have had a very busy summer and  like a typical mom I usually pack sunscreen for the kids but no sunscreen for the adults. I am glad to report that the Coppertone Kids Continuous Spray protected all of us in the hot Indiana sun!

I really liked the Coppertone Nutrashield Lotions, they were non-greasy, and light to the touch. Neither one of the boys’ threw a fit (like they usually do) when I used the continuous spray on them. All in all I give Coppertone’s 2009 sunscreen lin

  1. Does using sunscreen prevent the body from getting enough vitamin D?

  2. It takes a very small amount of sun exposure usually achieved through normal daily activity to trigger the body to produce vitamin D.

Q: What is the minimum SPF recommended for kids? For adults?
A: For children 6 months of age and older, we recommend sunscreens with an SPF 30 or higher. Babies under 6 months should be kept out of the sun. Adults of all skin types should use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15.

  9. UVB rays are the main cause of sunburn, but they also contribute significantly to premature skin aging and skin cancer.

  10. I learned that antioxidants help stop free radicals that cause skin damage. Thanks!

  16. I found where it defined age spots. I wish there was more information to explain the difference between an age spot and melenoma. I had a spot that I thought was an age spot and it was level II Melenoma (guess 32 is too young for age spots). Thank you
