Sprouts opened in Fayetteville!! The store is at 2810 Freedom Parkway Drive, Fayetteville NC.
I am beyond happy right now! I was able to walk through Sprouts before their official opening and it was phenomenal! This grocery store offers fresh, natural and organic products from 7 am to 10 pm, at amazing prices.
As as I have mentioned in prior posts, Sprouts makes healthy living for less easy with fresh produce at the center of the store, fresh meat and seafood at The Butcher Shop and The Fish Market, a full-service deli with convenient and high-quality prepared foods, bulk foods where you can purchase as little as you need or as much as you want, an extensive selection of vitamins and supplements, dairy, bakery, beer and wine and much, much more!
I loved that if you are unsure about products you can simply ask one of the friendly team members at Sprouts who can help you find the right product to fit your needs or help you sample a product right on the spot!
My favorite feature (besides the prices!) was the vast variety of Vegan items available. I found brands I had never heard of, flavors I never saw, and more varieties than I could imagine. Like Daiya Key Lime Cheesecake, Vegan Tamales, and strawberries were 4 for 5. I was in heaven! I had to get home last night but I returned today and spent $140 on every vegetable, fruit, bulk goods, and food I could. I even picked up a bottle of the fresh pressed Energize Me Juice.
I used my Sprouts App to save money (mobile coupons) and I brought one of my own bags (5 cents off your bill). I called my mom as soon as I got back in my car, just to tell her about my shopping moment. I said mom, I reached for the tofu and a guy reached for it too. It was like I made an instant friend and said “These are my people” haaa. I have waited for a store like this for our area and it is so good to finally walk its aisles knowing that it is honestly changing the lives of so many. Not just those who have struggled like me to find quality, affordable plant-based foods (or whatever your specialty diet may be), but also those who think it’s too expensive to eat healthily. Sprouts will certainly change their view!
By the way, don’t worry if you are a meat eater, Sprouts is a full grocery store so they have you covered! As far as pricing for plant-based brands/products; I found most of the products were at least $2 or $3 cheaper at my Sprouts! (Obviously, this will vary depending on your location). For our area, I personally think that Sprouts will give some of the local stores a run for their wallets. I see a higher margin in appearance, fruit/vegetable quality, specialty selection/availability, availability of fresher meats and baked goods, pricing, customer satisfaction and customer service.
I look forward to seeing you there!!
