Makaboo Hoodie Review and Discount

I love how personalizing an item makes it a child’s very own.  A great company called Makaboo allowed me to personalize an item of choice for my son.  First a little about Makaboo:

Makaboo Personalized Gifts  was launched by Cindy Teasdale McGowan in December of 2009. After cutting her teeth in web development and project management in Fleishman-Hillard’s interactive group, Teasdale McGowan spent three years in product development at Snapfish by HP.

In 2007, Teasdale McGowan moved back to her hometown of St. Louis to be with her now-husband, Bill McGowan. The couple lives in St. Louis’ Central West End with their cat Me (who used to have a brother named Julio), within a few miles of 18 of their 23 nieces and nephews.

In addition to its web site, Makaboo has a store-front in downtown St. Louis, MO.

I chose the Makaboo Angel Dear Classic Hoodie Jacket :

You’ll wish these darling hoodies came in your size when you feel their snuggly softness. Add a monogram to the lapel for an adorably personalized school jacket.

Machine washable; 100% polyester; made in China
Retails for $49.99

My Take:  As soon as I saw the items on this site I knew I was in love.  I immediately fell in love with the hoodie, especially the apple green hoodie.  I choose to have my son’s name embroidered in blue and the check out process was simple and fast!  I anxiously awaited the arrival and was not disappointed!  The colors are gorgeous, the material oh so soft and the 2 year old LOVES it.  Whenever he gets too cold he immediately wants to put it on!

Makaboo is generously offering a  10% DISCOUNT TO FIRST 20 USERS THROUGH 7/31/10: MOMMYPRSAVE10

I was not paid in any form of cash for this posting.

I did not receive product or services to keep for my testing purposes
