JORD Woodwatch Review & Giveaway

Watches are something everyone uses. Sometimes more for decoration than actual use, it seems. My husband rarely wears a watch. Hes super picky on the style and the feel of it.

I mentioned to him about a Woodwatch and he was immediately intrigued. Then again, who wouldn’t be? Just the name perks my ears up. We got to looking on the JORD website and found ourselves sucked into the masterpieces on the screen. Some of them, like the 746, I just expected to see turn into a transformer of sorts. They are beautiful craftsmanship and the dial alone makes me puzzled at who the brilliant mind is that sits all day and creates these works of art. Not to mention the carving of each band.

I was given the chance to own and review one of these watches. After careful reading and consideration, my husband and I both decided the Sully in Cherry was a great universal watch that we could share. It looked classy, yet could be informal as well. I could see it with simple jeans or a dress. {Look at actual photos of all their watches in action}

These watches don’t just come in a simple box, they are set atop a soft pillow to hold their shape and protect them from bumps. I suggest keeping both the box and pillow to have for storage.

Although, I am unsure of the average person who spends $130+ on a watch, I will say that some of you hard core watch collectors will want one of JORD’s watches in your collection. It is more than a time piece to say the least. This is a center of attention and brilliant conversation starter.

The Sully series is a blend of casual and professional. Choose from a variety of wood options. Includes a Citizen Miyota Quartz movement. The contrasting colors make this an obvious wood watch from a distance. Trying asking someone for the time and then say, “silly me, I forgot I’m wearing my watch.”

  • Hardened, Scratch-proof glass face: 33mm diameter
  • Frame / bezel: 41mm diameter
  • Band width: 25mm
