Join Our 90 Day Fitness Challenge!


Are you feeling tired, run down, unable to keep up with the kiddos?  Or maybe you are feeling a little out of shape, have a little jiggling going on that maybe shouldn’t be?

It’s time to take charge and do something about it!  We invite you to take the challenge along with us as we make over the fitness and nutrition routines (or lack of) in our lives.  Suffer Exercise along with us as we work our way through 3 unique fitness programs.

Andrea is taking on Beachbody’s 10 Minute Trainer.  Over the next 90 days she will be blogging her progress and/or struggles as she completes this challenge.  I know what you are thinking – why does Andrea get the easy 10 minute program right?  Or maybe that was just me…  Well anyway, Andrea is the skinny one has young children, a busy schedule, limited time for working out and really only needs to do some toning. Oh and as for easy, well take a look at the program and decide for yourself – I think she actually has some work cut out for her!

Angela is taking on the Slim in 6 program.  This fitness program has been provided by Beachbody and will help Anglea reshape her body over the next 6+ weeks (+ because although this program is a 6 week program, our fitness challenge is running for 90 days)!  Angela has already posted her reasons for wanting a health and fitness makeover.  

That leaves me… I am taking on the big challenge – P90X – you’ve seen the infomercials on it right?  Today I received the package from Beachbody containing the program and let me just say I am completely a bit intimidated.  I used to be athletic, before kids.  Maybe I will even drag out the pre-kid photos to add to my posts.  What appeals to me about the P90X program is the very same thing that scares the daylights out of me… the intensity of the workouts.  I used to be a runner and loved the rush that I would get from a great run or an intense workout – I want that again but running is just too hard on my knees these days.  I am going to test this program and it’s going to be hard and I am going to want to quit.  I’ve kind of gotten away from the satisfaction of a good sweaty workout, kind of can’t really remember why I ever liked working out in the first place… but I know that I did.  I want to be healthy and strong and I want to set a good example for my kids.  I want to be able to keep up with them, heck I want to be able to outlast them.  Right now they have way more energy than I do in a day, but I am going to try to change that.

So there it is, three different fitness programs.  We have committed to following them for 90 days and you can watch along with us to see if they work!  We hope at the end of the 90 days, you will see three completely transformed women.  So what do you say – want to join us?  We will offer moral support, a shoulder to cry on, a cyber hand to hold…  we will also be introducing some great tips, ideas and products that will help all of us to become more fit and healthy over the next 90 days.

  1. I want to follow along!! I have simple routines to add into my life and get myself healthier. I want to get pregnant again soon, and would love to be healthier for that venture. 90 days is a perfect time frame for me. I am going to be checking in for inspiration.

  2. I definitely want to follow along. I’m interested in P90X but it scares the daylights out of me. I think I have to workout to work my way UP to it. LOL I’ll work along with you gals on the program I’ve got going already – this meshes perfectly with the timeline I have!

  3. Someone I used to work with did the P90X. He said it was wicked and kicked his butt for the first 2wks or so- hard to stay motivated to do it. After that, it wasn’t so bad and about a month into it, he couldn’t wait to get home to do it- LOVED IT. And he looked awesome for it! 🙂

  4. Not only will I follow, I’ll join in! I’ll pull P90X DOUBlES for 90 days. I’m one day behind (because I’ve just found this today) but count me in! I’ll make up my workout!
