Rascodog ReadyLeash Review & Giveaway

I was thrilled to be offered the chance to review the ReadyLeash from Rascodog.  Most of you know we have to daschunds (technically they are minis according to their paperwork, but they have actually grown to the full size somehow).  Since it is very important to make sure they don’t get overweight we make sure that we walk them everyday.  Needless to say, we have gone through many leashes over the past 6 years.

About Rascodog: Rascodog is committed to providing products that promote responsible dog ownership. Our ultimate goal is to create innovative pet products that make it convenient to take proper care of your dog and your neighborhood. We design, manufacture and offer innovative, high quality and eco-friendly products that meet the demands of our customers and our customers’ best friends.

About ReadyLeash: An innovative, non-retractable dog leash with bags built-in! The ReadyLeash features a comfort-grip handle with an integrated clean-up bag dispenser. The bags simply pull out like tissues and refillables easily pop into the handle. XtraLeashes can be attached to the ReadyLeash handle for walking multiple dogs. The ReadyLeash comes equipped with an adjustable 4-ft lead and 3 rolls of biodegradable Readybags.*

My Thoughts: Directly across the street from us is a park where we, and many other neighbors, walk their dogs.  I would just like to say that I would be perfectly happy if the neighborhood association made the ReadyLeash mandatory for everyone walking their dogs in the neighborhood parks (or anywhere for that matter).  First of all I love that it is not a retractable leash.  Dogs need to be kept close to their owners and some people are not quick enough with locking the  retractable leashes when their dogs go dashing off after children or other dogs, not to mention that my kids have been hurt by those retractable leashes enough times that they are scared of them!  Secondly, I really LOVE the ReadyBags that are kept discretely tucked away inside the handle until you need them and the bags are 100% biodegradable!  This is a must have for every dog owner that walks their dog!  It makes it so easy to pick up after your dog – and please everyone – do pick up after your dog!!  There is one particular set of neighbors that I really need to gift a ReadyLeash and supply of ReadyBags to – maybe they would take the clue and start picking up the “doggie do do” that they leave over in the park (where my kids play I might add…)!  On to the third thing that I love about the ReadyLeash – it so comfortably fits in your hand, even if you are walking a tugging dog.  My daughter was able to keep a secure and comfortable grip on the leash at all times and yet it fit in my bigger adult hand just as comfortably!  The ReadyLeash is absolutely my new favorite  leash and I will be recommending them to all my friends and neighbors!

Where to Buy: ReadyLeash is available from the Rascodog Website for $19.99.  Right now you will receive  free 90 ReadyBags in convenient rolls when you purchase a ReadyLeash and if you send over $25 you get free shipping too!  You can also use the store locator to see if there is a location near you that carries them.

Win It: I have great news for you because Rascodog is offering to send one lucky MommyPR reader their ReadyLeash in your choice of color and webbing size!

I learned that The ReadyLeash comes equipped with an adjustable lead (range 4-6 ft) and 1 roll of 15 biodegradable Readybags. I forgot to add. The dog that will be using the leash is named Booger Bear!

I learned that the ready bags are 100% biodegradable. I have two dogs; jersey and sarge. I am sure sarge would get these leash, as jersey is not very active on our walks.
