When I was given the opportunity to review the SLEEKskin’s Anti-Aging Skin Kit, I was thrilled!  After all this skin care line is developed and offered by SLEEK MedSpa® which features “state-of-the-art technology in a comforting spa environment”.   SLEEK MedSpa® is dedicated to identifying skin problems, and applying body and facial rejuvenation treatments to enhance the personal appearance, self-esteem and health of their clients.   Who better to develop a skin care line than someone dedicated to becoming the nation’s leading provider of advanced body and facial rejuvenation services?

I was sent the Anti-Aging Kit pictured above for review and started using it right away!  The kit contains four products:

Step 1 Skinclean:  Glow – “Exfoliating cleansing gel formulated to promote skin rejuvenation, even skin tone and to repair and defend against sun damage with an effective cocktail of Vitamin C, Lactic Acid and Green Tea antioxidant nutrients. Since Lactic Acid is less intense and less drying than Glycolic Acid, Glow makes an excellent cleansing choice for those with hyperpigmentation, dry, and combination skin types. Glow is also ideal for use as a daily brightening antiaging cleanser. (SRP $38.95)

Results:Revives the skin with enriching anti-oxidants, removes excess make-up residue and maintains the skin’s natural pH.”*

My Thoughts: This is a gentle cleanser with an absolutely incredible scent!  It feels amazing going on and rinses clean.  You only need a small amount, lightly lather it and massage it into your skin.  I honestly loved it so much I didn’t want to rinse it off – I just wanted to stand there and breathe in the scent!

Step 2 Skinpure:  Boost – “Improves skin tone and conditions skin with anti-oxidant Vitamin C and natural solvents and astringents that dissolve residue and restore pH balance. Vitamin C and Lactic Acid combine to promote cell turnover, repair sun damage, reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and encourage skin lightening. (SRP $38.95)

Results: Leaves the skin refreshed and restores pH for a more comfortable skin.”*

My Thoughts: Did you know that toner is the most skipped over step in the skin care routine?  You should  always use toner (unless it’s alcohol based)!  The proper toner restores the pH balance in your skin and in case you missed my earlier post that included the reason why pH balance is important, I will repeat it here… the skin is our barrier protecting us against the harmful microorganisms present in the environment and also helps to eliminate toxins from our body.  Having an improper pH balance inhibits the skins ability to fight bacteria, causes acne, rosacea and makes us more prone to things like bacterial and fungal infections.

This takes just a quick spray to a cotton ball and then you apply it to your face.  It has an immediate softening effect on the skin and yet seems to tighten it too!  What is totally amazing is that I applied the toner to half of my face first and the skin looked smoother and the pores noticeably smaller on the side with the toner!  I’m talking about instant results here!

Step 3 Skintreat:  Renew – “Enriched with a combination of active peptides and proteins to supplement skin, Renew supports natural collagen levels to restore skin’s elasticity and promote healthy, youthful skin. This triple action collagen renewal serum restores the body’s own collagen, while stimulating new collagen production. With continuous use, Renew will deliver a more luminous complexion, re-contour epidermal cells and decrease visible lines. (SRV $98.95)

Results: Skin will experience increased luminosity and firmness and a more vibrant youthful glow.”*

My Thoughts: This feels nice and cool when applied and continues to have a cooling almost tingling effect long after it is absorbed into the skin.  To the touch my skin feels much smoother and youthful on the side where I have applied the first three steps.  Peptides, by the way, have become a leading ingredient in effective anti-aging products because they increase collagen production, which reduces the appearance of wrinkles!

Step 4 Skin Moisture:  Transform – “A light-weight cream that relaxes facial muscles, nourishes skin cells and moisturizes, Transform helps to achieve the appearance of youthful, healthier skin. Daily application can dramatically reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles thanks to the presence of muscle-relaxing Hibiscus Extract, as well as increase collagen production, improve elastin and skin firmness. (SRP $78.95)

Results: Skin appears smoother, supple and more youthful; visually dramatic results are achieved over a short period of time.”*

My Thoughts: This really is a light weight moisturizing cream and feels great as a fourth step!  I love applying this last step because the feel of my skin is so noticeably different and the cream feels soothing going on.

Overall I am super impressed with this skin care system.  I am amazed at the immediate results and by applying each step to only one half of my face I could actually compare and easily see the difference!  My skin is brighter, smoother, smaller pours, more evenly toned and feels so incredible that I keep touching it!

I also did another experiment and applied the whole skin care regimen to the back of one of my hands.  As I sit here typing I can literally see the difference in the two!  I only applied this once and a whole day, night and shower has passed since then and it still is obvious which hand had the products applied!!!  Needless to say I am thrilled with the results and even though it is a bit pricy but you can save about $45.00 by buying the products in the kit (Retail $215.95). Worth the price for the amazing results!!!!
