Busy Bee Baby Basics: Floor Cushion Review

Today I am bringing you a product from a company called Busy Bee Baby Basics:

My daughter is my inspiration for my business. I dragged my sewing machine out one day while my mom was visiting and discovered a whole new passion! I make her outfits, her Halloween costume, and Vasili’s outfits as well. I, like any other mom, have an addiction to baby “stuff”; blankets, burp cloths, bibs, you name it, I buy it! So I decided to make the things I like to buy, and offer them to other moms at a reasonable price.

So here I am, sewing what I sell and selling what I sew! I love it! The best part is sharing it all with you!

I was able to review a floor cushion:

Floor cushions are great for lounging on the floor while watching tv or coloring! They are 25″ in diameter and made from unbleached muslin, and filled with poly fiber fill. They feature a soft, cuddly fleece removable cover for easy care, and the cow print diameter is fringed. Machine wash/dry Monogramming available!   Retails for $25.00

My take:   My 21 month old sits in two places:  my lap or the floor.   He doesn’t like sitting on couches, chairs or any other normal place LOL.  He consistently drags a pillow or a couch cushion to sit on the floor.  While I understand he needs cushioning I would rather not have a pillow that I sleep on during the night be the reservoir for crumbs and dirt during the day.  He immediately took to his floor cushion (his has footballs and he has to point to each and every one of them and say Ball!).  The cushion is light weight enough for him to move around comfortably but heavy enough so it doesn’t fly across the room when he throws it.  I love how the cover is removable and I can throw it in the washing machine when it gets too soiled…big thumbs up!
