Avent Breastpump Review & Giveaway

This is a great little pump. It’s also very affordable ($39 at Target) which is something that makes this pump so great (having a baby, is expensive enough). Using the Isis is very convenient for me; I can pump right into the Avent bottle Gavin will drink from. There’s no need to pour the milk into anything else after pumping, which makes things so easy for me when I’m in a hurry.”
Working around the house with a new baby is nearly impossible at first but with the Avent Isis you can use the Avent bottles and magic cups interchangeably for milk storage so there are fewer things you have to wash. This pump also fits quite well in the Avent microwave steam sterilizer. The package I received for review came with 2 ULTRA comfort disposable breast pads, 2 sealing discs( for milk storage), 2- 4oz bottles with nipples and caps, 2 bottle stands (double as a funnel cover), replacement pump vacuum parts and of course the Manual pump with a let down massage cushion(very comfy). The wonderful people at Philips even threw in an extra 9oz BPA Free bottle for us to try. I also found the instructions well written and everything well explained for this pump.
After I delivered Gavin I was having trouble with breastfeeding so my lactation consultant had me try a hospital grade pump and I was able to use it for only 30 days then I had the choice to buy it, however the price tag on it was way out of my price range at a hefty $550 (oh but they were willing to take payments haha). Luckily Gavin started breastfeeding successfully by the end of my 30 day trial period so I had no need for a pump at the time. Gavin is now 4 months old and I just simply want some Mommy time (a hot shower without a baby in tow is pure heaven) So GREAT now that we got the chance to try our Avent Isis Manual pump Daddy gets to help with feeding Gavin. This pump works better for me then the one from the hospital! It’s very easy to use and small enough to toss in my bag for “on the go pumping”!!! I am very happy with this pump. In my opinion, it’s perfect for occasional pumping (2-3 times a week) and for expressing milk for storage. It works better than I’d hoped. Easy to assemble and take apart, it’s very effective, painless, and quiet. An overall GREAT Manual Pump!!!
