Give: Jaquard Train Case Review

I recently found an awesome company named Give who not only has great products but also donates 10% of its net profits annually…I love this company!  First a little about Give:

Give is a new collection of travel accessories that marries the concept between fashion, function, and philanthropy seamlessly – a portion of the net profits is donated to designated charities. Founded by designer Christine Valenti in April of 2004, the budding company has taken off quickly, with rave reviews from local, national and international magazines and a celebrity following that includes Christina Ricci, Rachel Bilson, Samaire Armstrong, Jessica Alba and Sheryl Crow to name a few.

Although Valenti always had an interest in fashion, her education was skewed more toward problem solving, where she majored in both Math and Philosophy. The background has proven to be invaluable when you realize GIVE comes full circle, every detail in her designs have been painstakingly chosen for not just aesthetics but for function. She has solved the disorganization equation and come up with a whole new generation of business, the concept of one that is genuinely charitable, useful, yet utterly sophisticated.

As the name implies, Give donates 10% of its net profits to charities annually. Our philosophy at Give is that part of being chic means not just carrying the bag that you love, but also supporting the organizations you love. Organizations We Love is a campaign in which we choose a different non-profit each month and in addition to donating to that organization, we feature them on this page and in our e-newsletter so that more people can learn about the great work that they do.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we are proud to partner with Young Survival Coalition.

This organization was founded by three young breast cancer survivors in 1998. All under the age of 35 at diagnosis, they were discouraged by the lack of information and resources available to young women, and concerned about the under-representation of young women in breast cancer studies.

Unlike their post-menopausal counterparts, young women diagnosed with breast cancer face higher mortality rates, fertility issues and the possibility and ramifications of early menopause. The YSC seeks to change the face of breast cancer by: advocating to increase the number of studies about young women and breast cancer; educating young women about the importance of breast self-examination and early detection; and being a point of contact for other young women with breast cancer.

For the month of October, 10% of online sales will go to Young Survival Coalition.

My Take:   The Jaquard Train Case is amazing….I am a huge fan of the color purple so I love the interior.  I have never seen so many pockets for a make up case.  This case has become my full-time make up holder instead of a travel accessory.  Best of all is the look, I no longer have to hide my make-up under my sink…this lovely case sits on top of my vanity.  Any of my must have products fit great and I love how sturdy the case is.  The 5 outside pockets have magnetic clasps so I can easily open them one-handed.  This truly is one of the most functional make up cases I have ever seen.
