My take:   My husband, 3 year old and I had a great time with this kit.  We had already experienced the slippery spheres and silly squares when we reviewed the Build Your Own Snowman Kit (see here), but the GobbledyGoop and JellyStones were new to us.  As to be expected the GobbledyGoop slime was the favorite for the 3 year old!

I love several things about this kit.  First that there are several experiments that can be done with each element (a lot we couldn’t do secondary to how young the 3 year old is).  I can’t wait until he gets into school and starts talking about polymers and I can use this as a guide.  I also love the quantity of each component.  You can literally do these experiments over and over again and still have a large quantity left for later.  Overall my favorite was that DuneCraft gives the parents the “answers” as to what to expect from each experiment so it really becomes a teaching experience for your children.

A quick warning…prepare to get messy.  This is a kit that is meant to be explored with by curious hands which might mean spills.  I just put towels over the kitchen table and we were good to go.
