PawParazzi Pets Review & Giveaway

We are huge animal lovers in our family and we have 2 cats inside the house.  The problem is with two rambuctious boys, the cats tend to shy away from the children.   The 3 yr old is now wanting to interact with the cats, and of course the cats want NOTHING to do with him.  I found the neatest site from the company Noodle Head called Pawparazzi Pets.  First a little about Pawparazzi Pets:

Noodle Head completely spoiled my family sending a wide variety of products for us to sample.  They have several options of cats and dogs.  My only request was that I be sent  a cat if possible since we are partial to cats.   They were very gracious and sent not only 2 cat sets, a day at the spa Pawparazzi Celebrity Dress Up Set, 2 Glitz kits (diamond and gem), a pet bed, and 2 notepads with pens that matched the kitties.

Let me first begin with the cats.   We received 2 different sets.  The first  was the Misty Pawparazzi set.  The Misty Set includes Pet and Purse with Leash, Collar, Blanket, Name Charm, and Celebrity Magazine.  The purse not only has a zipper but also has a side opening where Misty can come & go as she pleases.  Each pet has their own story and here is Misty’s:  As a reporter for the Cat News Network (CNN) I’m always stalking the next big story.  You can usually find me sniffing around the news litter box trying to get the latest ‘scoop’.  Some people think this business is all catnaps and kitten rescues, but I’ve exposed dangerous dog parks and clawed my way through some flea-infested parts of the world to uncover important stories. If there’s a breaking story, this fur is flying to be first on the scene! Do you see why I fell in love with this company?

The second pet set we received was Toby.  Now Toby was part of the Celebrity Style Set so there was more included in his set:  Set includes Pet and Purse, Leash, Collar, Blanket, Name Charm, Celebrity Magazine, Silver Dish, Dining Mat, Chew Toy AND a Pearl Necklace for girls and Matching Collar for their pets.  So I am really glad my son picked Misty because I really didn’t want to get into the pearl necklace aspect of the pet LOL (instead this set went to my niece).  As Misty, this cat also has a story:  I started painting because I loved the feel of paint squishing between my toes.  The colors, the smell, and the feel of scratching on canvas excites me like catnip.  I love to create something new from my imagination.  I try to communicate through art and make other cats think outside the litter box.  We don’t have to keep scratching the same old post and running to the same bowl of food. We’ve only got 9 lives to live and some of them are short!

Each pet, regardless of which set you purchase, comes with the newest Pawparazzi glossy magazine.  The magazine is full of fashion and the pet models…showcasing the pets and not the child models which I love.  We also received the Pawparazzi Day at the Spa Dress Up Set which included the Terry Robe, Slippers, Eye Mask, Tote, and Towel for the pet.  The pet bed is also very cute as is the glitz kits.  Glitz kits have charm bracelets for the girls and matching collars for their pets.

My take:  OK first off, I will tell you that when I first received these products all my information was directed to girls and that is the only thing I really disagree with this company.  Yes I did contact the company with the thought of my niece in mind but when my 3 yr old son saw the 2 kitties we received his little face lit up.  Who am I to tell him “no honey this is a girl toy since it has a purse”.  I told him “of course you can have one, which one do you like the most”.  Who cares if he walks around carrying a purse- I just tell him it’s the cat carrier.  Thankfully my husband feels the same way as I do.   I love how he takes care of “his” kitty.  He always lays the cat on her special blanket, he takes her for walks on the leash (yes I know that most cats aren’t walked on a leash but he is having fun), and he always puts her in her purse when it is time for bed “because I could lose her”.  I think this product can be used for both genders (minus the bracelets and necklaces).

I adore the attention to detail this company has with their products.  The pets are plush, the purses are quality made, and the accessories have the needed “bling” little girls love.  Now I have to stress this product is intended for children 4+ and I did make sure my 3 yr old did not have access to the tiny name charm included.  As a physical therapist I liked the fact that the purse had a zipper which my 3 yr old had difficulty opening and closing so his fine motor skills were also being enhanced.
