#HearTheTruth – JBL Link300

Ah, spring cleaning. Who likes it?! I do and I don’t. It depends on my mood and why I am cleaning in the first place. Am I cleaning because the kids acted as if a maid lives here or is it because I am done with the clutter and want a fresh space? It’s usually the later. I get into these moods where I need everything decluttered and wiped down. My oldest will help me by dusting the high stuff and washing the baseboards. (It helps to have a much taller daughter ha! )

She loves to listen to music, puts on her headset and goes about her cleaning. While I am left there trying to figure out what channel on the TV plays those non-stop music lists. (What happened to MTV & VH1?!) Then I risk damaging an ear or a speaker on the TV with how loud I want it. Somewhere in this house we probably have lots of personal sized, portable speakers. But that’s not what I wanted. I wanted something that stays in the same spot (if I want it to), that is easy to use and plays what I want it to, all with a clear volume.

Thankfully, JBL reached out with a review for a handful of new products. I knew right away it would be quality because we have the JBL Xtreme and my husband raves about it to everyone. This was an opportunity for mom to have one of her own. I selected the JBL Link 300. JBL Link 300 has the Google Assistant built-in, Far-field voice recognition allows for easy hands-free operation, and with the free Google Home app on iOS & Android, you can quickly setup and manage your JBL Link 300.

Now when I am cleaning, doing homework, or just relaxing, I can say “Ok Google” and ask it to play music, podcasts or radio from services like Google Play Music, Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio and more. The JBL Link 300 supports both wireless and Bluetooth, has hands free services and chromecast.  I don’t have to move or stop what I am doing to change a station, ask a question or pause the song.  And because it Includes a woofer and a tweeter, I get crystal clear sound as loud as I want it.

We have had a lot of fun with this speaker, asking it funny questions, math problems, help with homework, and even a cute virtual pet game. I have it set up in my living room, but I have found it in nearly every room of the house. It’s a medium sized speaker with big output. I love it!

We have been long-time JBL fans and the Link300 helps solidify that.
