My take:  Both of my boys fought to be the first to open this box.  When I suggested we open it together I of course was presented with deep sighs which were quickly abated once they saw what was inside the box:

Before their curious little fingers could grasp any of the pieces, I found the story that accompanies the box and the boys were quickly entranced by the story.  Every few minutes I would pause in the story and arrange the pieces to suit the storyline.  Once the story was finished it was amazing how their imaginations took over and they quietly played with the set for well over an hour.

The pieces of the set are exquisite- from the facial expressions of the characters, to the fact that Rapunzel’s hair has a notch which means it can be taken in and out and will, from the tiny details found on the pretend scissors and turnips.  Simply an amazing story-box with tons of imagination potential.
