My take:

Parent Perspective:  I almost wept in relief when I opened this box and saw that each building was fully assembled.  You might laugh but I am still having nightmares regarding the hours of Christmas present assembly.  The first thing that struck me when I took these building out was how big each one is.  They are brightly colored, exquisitely detailed and can be used with train tracks, cars or as stand alones.  By far my favorite is the car wash/gas station building.  Check out all the great characteristics:

The gas pump which kids can use their imagination and fuel their cars:

The great illustration of the car wash in which kids can pretend to watch their cars get cleaned:

Each one of these building is wide and high enough to accommodate all different types of vehicles and surfaces underneath them.  We have used them with train tracks, on car mats, with race tracks and each and every time I love the imagination that I see the boys using with the buildings.  The helicopter pad on the hospital is perfect for all our our helicopters.

Physical Therapist Perspective:  The buildings are wide and heavy enough for children with poor fine motor to grasp and position into place.  Spatial awareness is practiced every time a vehicle passes through the buildings and when the building are placed on various surfaces.  The level of detail on each building engages a child’s imagination and opens up avenues of interactive playing with six buildings available.
