I listen to music whenever I can….doing chores, running errands, making meals or just having a dance party with the kids. I often listen to music on my phone but get really frustrated when I need to make a call or text and I have to interrupt the music. I recently had the opportunity to review the Google Chromecast Audio thanks to Best Buy.
Google Chromecast Audio enables you to play music on your speakers, new or old, wirelessly from your phone, laptop or tablet. Because Chromecast Audio uses WiFi instead of Bluetooth, you can stream crystal clear hi res sound.
1) Listen to your favorite tunes on your speaker- You can stream from your phone/latop/tablet and no longer have your battery drain while playing and you can make calls/texts without having the music interrupted.
2) Crystal clear sound, powered by the cloud- Streaming over Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth gives a high quality sound
3) Enjoy hundreds of your favorite audio apps- Stream millions of songs, radio stations, and podcasts through apps like Pandora, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Google Play Music. Find more at chromecast.com/apps
4) Play music everywhere with Multi-room- Group your devices together and listen to the same music in multiple rooms
My take: The Google Chromecast Audio is a game-changer for the way I’m now listening to music. The biggest frustration on having my music interrupted to make a phone call or send a text no longer exists. I also love how I can listen to the same music on different speakers when I group my devices together, on days that I clean, I no longer need to cart my phone from place to place. Simply plug the Google Chromecast Audio jack into your speaker and you are ready to go.
