I recently had the opportunity to review the Dorfman Pacific Ribbon Crusher Hat (also known as The Tres Jolie on the website).

My take:  I simply adore this hat.  It is so stylish and comfortable that I can wear it with shorts, jeans or dresses.  I love how I can stuff it into a small carry bag and each time it lays perfectly on my head.  The floppy border allows for maximum coverage for your face and neck.

My take:  I just realized I haven’t let you in on a little secret that I have been hoarding around here….we are having a GIRL.  After having 2 of the best boys around I am still a little shell-shocked this final baby will be a girl.  That being said, how could I have not picked the pink travel system!  Here are a couple of pictures of the assembly process my husband so kindly completed for me:

He reported back to me that assembly wasn’t all that difficult and in no time at all I was ready to try out the features.  Looking first at the stroller I was immediately captivated by the large storage compartment found at the bottom of the stroller…it is huge and tilted for easy access.  I also like how the handle is easily adjusted since there is quite a height difference between my husband and I so this feature is quite handy.  The brakes are easy to use as is adjusting the harness.  The colors and fabric of the seat are striking and durable and there is a parent tray for easy storage of keys.  The child’s tray swings away with a touch of a button.

Fitting the infant car seat onto the stroller took us a couple of tries but now that I have the method down I can easily transfer the car seat from the car base to the stroller in one efficient movement (same for taking the seat away from the stroller).   The key is to make sure the stroller seat is fully reclined and the stroller material is completely rolled away from the locking mechanism.

As for the infant car base….this is by far the most innovative and favorite feature I have found thus far.  How many times have you read that most infant car seats are improperly positioned in a family’s car?  Well with the Smart Screen Technology found in Summer Infant’s car base that is one problem that is easily solved.  There are 3 basic steps the Smart Screen Technology checks for you to ensure you have a proper fit.  First step- making sure the LATCH connectors are clicked into place.  Second step:  Level- you can change the base angle by pressing the buttons on both sides of the Smart Screen until a smiley face appears.  Third step:  Tighten- you can rotate the belt tightening handle until a smiley face appears.  It is recommended that you use these features at least once a month to ensure that you have a correct fit.

I can’t begin to tell you how much I am impressed with the entire Summer Infant Prodigy Travel System.  Others have been equally impressed as well:  The Prodigy Infant Car Seat received the highest score possible — a 5-star Ease of Use Rating – from the  National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in every category: Evaluation of Labels, Evaluation of Instructions, Securing the Child, and Installation Features.

My take:  Where to begin?  Let’s start by saying that I actually feel like a stylish attractive woman in each of these bras…the colors, fabrics and fit allows for me to feel great.  My favorite bra is the Body Silk Seamless followed closely by all the others.  Every single bra provides full comfortable support which is not easy to find with an ever growing body.  I love how all of the bras are able to be used for several stages:  maternity, nursing and than able to convert to a regular bra once finished with nursing.  I don’t know about you but I lived in my bras 24/7 during nursing and finding comfortable bras this time around was a must!

The tank is super comfortable, has superior support (unlike any other tank I have ever tried) and is long enough to cover the belly.  I also appreciate how durable the bras are to be washed- they come out great each and every time!  The colors are great to, you don’t have to settle for bland white all of the time thanks to Bravado!

GetUncommon.com emailed me about their cases and when I looked at the site, I didn’t think they would work because I assumed they were stickers. I had seen these Iphone stickers all over that look like cases or go over cases and they always looked real so I got a tad worried. However Uncommon asked I send over a high resolution photo and they would make it fit correctly on my Iphone 3GS. I picked one I had recently taken of my girls peeking around a larger pillar. I loved the color of it and just the simple look they had.  (See photos below)

When my case arrived, I was more than surprised. Thrilled. Happy. Speechless. The case itself is awesome. It’s exactly what I wanted. A nice hard case, durable, easy to remove for cleaning, and has all the buttons in the right places that I needed. The photo is not a sticker and will not scratch off, rub off, fall off, or whatever else you can think. The color is perfect, and has just enough gloss. Simply slip on the bottom piece and then slide the top over until they click together. Taking it off is just as easy, slide the 2 pieces apart. Cleaning is safe however you prefer, I just use lysol wipes. I have dropped it several times (because I am horrible at holding onto phones I swear) and it has not popped off, broke or even chipped. It is honestly worth every penny (and its not that much anyways!).

I love my Uncommon case because…well… its uncommon.
