I use Turbo Tax myself and have for years. I switched from H&R Block because I seen a bigger refund and less fees. I do pay for my filing since I file Buisness, but the fee is no where near what I use to pay. Plus it’s e-filed and checked for errors. I feel secure with Turbo Tax. If you are unconvinced, go on Turbo Tax, fill out the info and see what your return would be, then go over to a competitor and do the same. See which one offers you the most return.

Military- Turbo Tax does have a free edition for you too!
