Just a few weeks ago I reviewed the Food Mill from Annabel Karmel and if you remember, I really liked this product from the Make It Easy line for using in making fresh foods for your baby.  I was recently fortunate enough to receive several products from Infantino from the same Make It Easy line!  Infantino joined up with Annabel Karmel to create this great line and after seeing several more of the pieces, I am even more impressed with the stylish, sturdy and fresh design of this entire line!

When I was offered the products above for review, I thought they would be a great addition to my “Equipping Your Kitchen” series, and I was absolutely right!  I love the feel, look, style and design of each of these products.  I want to start with one of our favorites, the Double Decker Meal Box.  Check it out:

My Thoughts: It might be intended for baby or toddler food, but my youngest couldn’t wait to get her hands on what she claimed was her new lunch box!  She had so much fun putting it together and absolutely loves that the eating utensils safely tuck right in the top of the container.  She will use this for every meal if I let her, she loves it that much.  In fact she kept telling everyone to “leave Mom alone, so she can get her work done” because I told her that she couldn’t her new lunch box to school until I got pictures of it first for the review.  The Double Decker Food Box is the perfect size with plenty of different size compartments to fit all types of foods.  At about $8.00 I think this is a great buy!

Next up is the Freeze Tray: This small Food Cube Tray is perfect for freezing small portions of your baby’s food. By preparing food in batches and freezing it in the food cube tray, you need only cook once or twice a week.

My Thoughts: This is another product that exceeded my expectations.  I am a fan of silicone bakeware and love the ease in removing things from them, like the solid cubes from this freezer tray.    However, if you have any experience with silicone then you know how easily it bends.  You will want to make sure that you store this container on a flat surface in your freezer.  It is sturdy enough to stack some things on top, but you will definitely want to make sure that this is stored flat.  I love how thick it is and it is super easy to clean!

The Mash & Serve Bowl is perfect for use at home or out and about. For instant baby food, simply mash banana, avocado, peach or pear on its own or with a little breast or formula milk.

The next product in this review is the 6 Stackable Food Pots:  These attractive stackable food pots are perfect for storing fresh baby food. The pots clip together for easy storage and they are see through so you can tell what food is inside.

My Thoughts: These are perfect snack or lunch box size containers.  You can store them tucked inside each other if you are short on room or they snap together for easy and organized storage if you have a bit more room.  These cups would make great storage for trips or in a diaper bag.  Plus kids love to play with stacking cups, so they could be a great needed distraction when you get tied up somewhere.

Last up in this review is Starting Solids, a great book by Annabel Karmel:  Packed with simple, practical advice for the initial stages of weaning, Starting Solids is the perfect introductory book to first foods and gives parents all the information they need. My Thoughts: This book is especially beneficial to first time parents.  Annabel guides you through weaning, creating a healthy diet, special diet or allergy concerns and getting started with babies first foods.  If I had known when my oldest was a baby, the things I know about food now… I would have made her baby food myself for sure!  You will find Starting Solids to be a great practical guide for planning and creating great healthy meals for your precious baby!

My take:  Now my boys are much too old for this so I was excited to introduce this to my brand new nephew.  Of course I had to open the box and assemble the pieces so I knew how it really works.  Assembly is a snap and I am amazed at how quickly one can transition this mobile from the arm position fixed to the bassinet to the stroller handle.  My husband immediately remarked how quiet this toy was- perfect for baby’s ears and not too loud for the parents to go crazy listening to.  I also liked how you are able to have a non-music option and just let the mobile play.  The characters are sweet and endearing and the colors are eye-catching to a baby.

I would have loves this Take-Along Mobile because it has so many uses and really is worth the money.  I also like knowing my nephew will have familiar friends along for the ride wherever he may go.

My Thoughts: Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!  The sunscreen goes on nice and easy, absorbs pretty quickly into the skin and my daughter was not trying to squirm away from me, like she does with many scented sunscreens.  I also love it for myself because I have developed a sensitivity to some sunscreens, but this one just feels great!

The second product that I received was the Bouncing Baby Bubbles.   I don’t normally let my girls take baths because it can cause some urinary tract irritation, and that is just not fun to deal with.  So they have both learned to take showers at a young age, but every once in a while they get the treat of a bath.  Let me just tell you that they were both thrilled to see this product in the box I received!

My Thoughts: This is hands down my youngest daughters absolute favorite!  She LOVES the scent and even after her bath she walked around smelling her arm and telling me how great she smells!  My oldest daughter thought the scent was a little too “babyish” for her 10 year old self, but it did not cause any irritation (for either of them) what so ever – even after three consecutive nights of bubble baths as she continued to voluntarily use the product that was just a little too “baby” like for her!   It does remind me slightly of a fresh clean baby, swaddled up in a cozy soft towel – maybe that’s why I love it so much too!  You definitely will want to add this to your shopping list for any sweet new babies in your life, and especially children with sensitive skin!

My Thoughts: I have actually had the opportunity to really try out this product.  Although I am not pregnant, I have been dealing with a medical issue which has my abdomen swelling up to 7 inches over its normal size throughout the day.  I can tell you that this Perfecting Crème has helped me so much in keeping my skin soft and flexible.  Thankfully I have not developed any stretch marks even though at times I look like I am about 8 months pregnant (just so you know – I am okay and we seems to be getting everything under control now).  This lotion is very soothing, smells soooo good and just feels wonderful to apply, I have been extremely grateful to have this crème for my swelling belly and know that any expecting mama would be just as thrilled with this product!

I will honstly say that i had never tryed Boudreaux’s Butt Paste before. I always heard other moms talk about how great it was though. My problem was the price. I have only ever seen 2 types, the jar and the tube. Both are always more than i want to spend. Yet if you knew me, and knew how many different tubes of paste i have went through trying to find “The One”, you would laugh and say i could have afforded to buy Boudreaux’s Butt Paste by now. However, i was offered the chance to review Boudreaux’s Butt Paste and i jumped at the offer.

Ariel is potty training (90% done!), but her butt gets really rashy and dry looking from her wanting to run around naked. (Hey i try but that girl is dead set on being a nudist in the house lol).  I managed to wrangle her training undies on her with the Boudreaux’s Butt Paste . She actually had a split thought about it for the 1st time, but it was the 1st time i put creme and undies on her together. Usually i used her pullups. After the 1st application she was fine with it.

I have a few things to say about my experience with Boudreaux’s Butt Paste .

1. No Scent
2. Goes on thick and wipes of clear (Yes it actually does!)
3. All Natural
4. Made In The USA (need i say more?)

Now price. Although i am still on the fence of the price issue i keep telling myself, “If i want quality products, i pay quality price.” But i will add, i went shopping around the web for this product! I found they actually have different sizes that are in my price range. That being said, yes i would continue to buy Boudreaux’s Butt Paste . Check out Amazon for more sizes and prices, i found some as low as 3.99 and 5.55! That is more my price range for sure.
