 I don’t have any apron’s, mainly because I don’t cook enough to even get messy. But when approached for a review, I thought it was about time this mom owned a darn apron, and a cute one at that! The selection at Flirty Aprons was huge. I saw some that I don’t think were even meant for the kitchen, (cough) hence the name Flirty Aprons.

I have an obsession for Asian flair items. I’m not sure what it is, but the Cherry Blossom design catches my eye every time. Flirty Aprons had that same design! Instantly I choose that one (even though my heart was pulling in 10 other directions of styles. )

It arrived and let me say, the wrap around ties will fit ANY size woman. I really liked that about this brand. Its truly one size fits all. The quality was very thick and had pockets n the front. My husband and youngest daughter cracked up at seeing me in the apron. After i took it off my husband joked and asked why I took it off before making him some darn cookies. I’m not THAT domesticated yet!

My take:  It is hard to say which piece is the boys’ favorite, I would have to say it is a toss-up between the Mega Magnifier and the Base Camp Shelter.  The Mega Magnifier has been dropped, kicked and stepped on multiple times and it continues to be super durable, I love how the boys take it everywhere- outside to check out the bugs and inside to look at anything and everything.  The Base Camp Shelter had to be erected in the living room since we have had so much  rain and the lantern was the crown jewel- we fight every time over who gets to turn it on.  The base camp shelter easily fits multiple children and when you add the camouflage the boys are in heaven.

My take:  My 3 year old is having a really rough time figuring out how long he is supposed to stay in his room for quiet/nap time and early in the morning.  I was very intrigued by Zazoo’s photo clock because of the many different options available.  Set-up was super-easy and one of my favorite things about this clock is that there are no buttons for little fingers to push and alter settings.  All settings are inputed via a remote control.  We first used the pre-programmed settings which the 3 year old immediately understood, sun for awake/playtime  and moon for sleep/stay in room.  We next tried to upload pictures of him and family but found this was too distracting as he tended to forget what a picture meant.  He also just loved to look at the pictures instead of resting so we switched back to the pre-programmed mode.  I love, love, love the added option for nap-time and as he grows older this will be such a neat place to store his favorite pictures and play his music.  We have had great success with him staying in bed since we have used this photo clock.

The $89 price tag seems high but it does come with alot of added features such as uploading personal photos and using as a music player.

My take:  I was very pleased at the amount of bubbles found in the bathwater…one evening the 3 year old had a melt-down midway into bath and an hour later when I finally had a chance to drain the water the bubbles were still there.  Pleasant light smell and easy on the boys’ eyes.

My take:  I remember when my boys were little enough for a bouncer and we got so much use of it that our bouncer actually broke from overuse with the second baby.  I usually leave the set-up to my husband but this year I am determined to do the majority of assembly by myself.  The directions were easy to follow and I had an adorable bouncer fully assembled after about 10 minutes.  I love the pastel colors, the removeable toy bar and how easy it is to wash all the material.

My take:  Now mind you I bought my original Exersaucer almost 5 years ago and still lend it out to close family and friends but I was very impressed with the new Jump & Learn.  The biggest improvement- 2x the bounce- love, love it!  I also love how much easier it is to assemble…I remember my father and husband attempting to put together the old Exersaucer and the springs just about did them in.  I was able to assemble the Jump & Learn quickly and easily with no help at all from my husband!  Every piece is easy to attach, directions were easy to follow and all I needed was a screwdriver.  I love the colors of this Exersaucer, how easily engageable all the toys are, and how nicely padded the frog seat is.  The biggest drawback- it takes 9 AAA batteries for 3 of the toys to work- but when the batteries are put in the baby just lit up.   Comparing it to the old Exersaucer from 5 years ago the only thing I liked better with my original was that I could fold it up for transport.  2 huge thumbs up!
