Ever since my boys were old enough to piece things together they have had such an interest in LEGO products. All last year their greatest obsession was LEGO Ninjago, so I knew this next review would be ideal for the upcoming school year. LEGO Bags for school.
LEGO® Bags, now the sole designer and distributor for LEGO®-branded kids’ bags and backpacks in North America, announces the launch of its 2014 back-to-school line, featuring ergonomics, visibility and coordinating lunch options.
With durable construction and comfort features such as contoured padded shoulder straps, sternum straps and padded back panels, LEGO® Bags emphasize quality and value. At similar price points, LEGO® Bags out?perform and outlast other backpacks in their category.
We were fortunate to review:
- Interior LEGO® brick print with name tag
- Ergonomically contoured padded shoulder straps
- Padded back panel with LEGO® stitch detail
- 360-degree reflect webbing for visibility
- Interior slip pocket to fit folder
- Adjustable sternum strap
- Side mesh pocket
- Exterior D-ring for attaching Vertical Lunch
- Easy-to-clean insulated lining
- Dual density foam padding
- Hook and loop strap attaches to coordinating backpack’s D-ring
My take: Both the backpack and lunchbox are extremely well made. I love the padded shoulders and the padded back especially now since he carries electronics used for school purposes. He loves the sternum strap and the side mesh pocket which is perfect for his water bottle.
As for the lunchbox- it is very roomy and very easy to clean. My son thinks it is “awesome” that he can connect his lunchbox to the backpack thanks to the D-ring.
