Kids Music Bundle Review & Giveaway

One of the best ways that I have found to keep my kids entertained in the car is by listening to kids’ music.  We were able to review 3 great new CDs:

Mr. G ABC Fiesta:

ABC_jpg-220x220

Mister G’s new bilingual, literacy-themed album  ABC Fiesta features a collection of original songs celebrating Mister G’s first loves: music and reading. “Hola Amigos” kicks off the album with an intoxicating blend of Latin rhythms and funky acoustic guitar that’s guaranteed to get the party started. The worldbeat-inspired “ABC Fiesta” is a celebration of letters, words and reading in both Spanish and English. “Cuento” is a lilting, acoustic, reggae lullaby written from the perspective of a child who wants to be read a story. The zydeco influenced song, “Quiero Leer,” is an ode to kids everywhere who can’t get enough books.

Recess by Justin Roberts:

Untitled

Brand new slab of power pop rock for families. Features 12 new original songs about recess, hopscotch, elevlators, and trains. Limited edition CD version comes with embossed cover, pop-up robot, and secret website where you’ll find craft projects and additional hidden music.

Lishy Lou and Lucky Too:

ll

Newest album alert! Fresh, artfully-crafted pop hits mixed with an old-style radio hour, “Lishy Lou and Lucky Too” is a color-splashed, enhanced-reality album with hits: “Thingamajig,” “8000ft,” “Duck Ellington,” “When I Grow Up,” and more. Packed with a delightful cast of characters, jokes and fantastically fabulous music.

My take:  We had a lot of fun listening to these CDs.  ABC Fiesta has a deep gentle voice and great beats to dance to.  My boys are still singing the Hola Amigos como estas phrase from Hola Amigos soundtrack and I love how we learned different words for bus, beans and lollipops.  Recess by Justin Roberts has a great music video for the song Recess and my boys also loved I’ll Be an Alien, My Secret Robot and Every Little Step.  This is another album you will just want to get up and dance to.  The Lishy Lou and Lucky Too is an album unlike any that we have heard before….the boys giggled and the baseball jokes in Batter Up and really enjoyed Duke Ellington and When I Grow Up.  You will find a mix of fast and slow songs on this album.

One lucky MommyPR reader will win all 3 CDs: Mr. G ABC Fiesta, Recess by Justin Roberts, and  Lishy Lou and Lucky Too!
