Shaving can have harsh effects on delicate underarms causing skin to lose up to 50 percent more moisture, leading to dryness and inflammation. This, in turn, can lead to red and dark marks that 32 million U.S. women experience. Building on a heritage in skin care that dates back more than 50 years, Dove® introduces NEW Clear Tone Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant – the only deodorant in the U.S. designed to reduce red and dark marks and even skin tone.
Clear Tone is specially formulated with Calendula and Sunflower Seed extracts to help restore skin to its natural tone in just two weeks. In addition, Dove Clear Tone also offers Dove ¼ moisturizers and 48-hour odor and wetness protection. The new Pink Rosa scent is made up of floral and fruity notes of violet, rose and raspberry blossom.
My take: As soon as I opened this deodorant, I was immediately drawn to the smell- light, fruity and unlike any other deodarant smell I have ever encountered (in a good way). The dedoarant glided on and I didn’t have to feel like I was scrubbing it on to get it fully applied. Unfortunately after I shave, my skin is always red, dry and irriated and since beginning to use this deodarant for the past 2 weeks I have noticed s huge difference. Along with the irritation aspect, I am still nursing my daughter and if you have ever nursed you know what hot flashes from nursing are. A very strong underarm odor occurs with it which has been unnoticeable since using the Dove Clear Tone Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant.
Dove is generously offering 2 lucky MommyPR readers a year supply of Clear Tone Deodorant!
