I love when I notice the first signs of spring’s arrival….spring flowers!! Why am I talking about spring when fall is just arriving….because in order to get those first signs of spring you have to plant them in the fall. Longfield Gardens is generously going to send me a variety of gorgeous spring flowers to plant this fall.
Muscari Armeniacum bulbs- These long blooming muscari have been a spring favorite for generations. Their bright blue color and short stature make them perfect in borders and as companion plants
Moulin Rouge- A fragrant tulip whose white petals mature with raspberry-pink accents
Shirley- Opens creamy white with lilac-purple stitching around the petal’s edge
Striped Apeldoorn- A buttery yellow base striped with bright red nicely compliments bold blues
I promise to share pictures when they bloom in the spring….meanwhile head over to Longfield Gardens to see what you can plant this fall for your spring blooms!
