Longfield Gardens: Amaryllis Bulbs
My mom has a green thumb when it comes to growing plants and she has a gorgeous amaryllis plant that I always admire when I am at her house. I recently had the opportunity to work with Longfield Gardens to review their amaryllis bulbs.
This sumptuous, deep red amaryllis has thick, velvety petals and sparkling golden stamens. The flowers are broad and lightly ruffled. A classic beauty that looks as good in a rustic basket as it does in an ultra-modern vase.
Retails for $12.95 a bulb.
Here is a great articles to care for your amaryllis: Planning & Selecting Amaryllis
My take: I was in awe of the presentation that the bulbs were presented in:
I love that the soil and extras are included (which I have never found from another company). Look at how HUGE the above bulb is!!! I have decided to plant my bulbs in a clear vase with stones (I am waiting for the single digit weather to subside before I venture out with the baby) but I will be sure to post pictures once I get the first bloom!
