My take:  The science lover in me is completely impressed by the activity guide.  The guide easily explains concepts of science such as how magnets work and how important a solid foundation is in order to build more complex and highter shaped objects.  The illustrations and examples in the guide are easy to follow and in no time at all you and your child will be building with ease.  Since Halloween was yesterday the main theme we built around was creepy crawly things.  First here are all the pieces that come in the box:

The spider we built:

And the caterpillar:

The mom in me loves the limitless imagination this set sparks in my children.  The physical therapist in me loves the fine motor coordination, hand/eye coordination and spatial awareness that is required and the teacher in all of us loves the bright primary colors and the activity guide which helps understands the basics of proper building.  The set also comes with a case, which is my opnion is a must since you have so many different pieces.  This set can be easily used by a beginning builder to a child who can master the complex designs.
