Kate Reese Designer Eyeglasses Review & $20 Discount Code!
I am an eyeglass freak. I love my collection of glasses. You can change them out with any outfit, any hair color, and feeling. Just wake up, and match your day to your frames. Funky, spunky, frumpy; they all have a feeling and design. My husband finds it lame and probably a little over the crazy train, but it works for me. Some have transitions, some are tinted and all are different. One thing all those glasses weren’t is (a) designer and (b) red.
Don’t get me wrong, you don’t need to have designer glasses to see better. Lenses are lenses. But what if you could get those lenses in some designer frames for less of a cost of the ones you have now or even the same price. Hey, I have been to those “in house” eye glass factories who charge you an arm and 2 legs for your frames and lenses in 1 hour. You can only afford the frames in 1/4 of the selections because of all the dang fees they charge. Online ordering has been around for a while now and if you haven’t tried it, you need to get with the game plan. It’s easy, It’s cheaper, and YOU are in control. Pick the frames you want, the color you want, and add all the goodies with seeing the cost 1st. The 1st time I ordered Transition lenses, I had no idea I was being charged over an extra $100 when KateReese.com only charges $69. There was almost a $30 savings right there!
But that is nothing on what a pair of glasses overseas will cost you. Holy mackerel. We were stationed in Italy from 05-09, and I needed a new pair of glasses. I decided to go to the place on post figuring it would be cheaper since it only serviced military members. My husband could have killed me 2 weeks later when my glasses came in and I had to pay the $400 EURO bill. I don’t even have to tell you what that is in dollars. There is no need. Just stare at your screen and take a wild guess and I will just agree. Let me also just slide in the fact that they were non designer, simply black rectangles Also non transition. Non computer friendly. Only thing I added…. scratch resistant. I still have that pair of glasses because I simply can not throw them out for fear they will ruin/jinx my marriage.
We are headed back to Europe in a few days and thankfully I don’t forsee myself splurging on a pair of eyeglasses now thanks to Kate Reese! I 1st wanted this Coach pair. Actually I wanted ALL the Coach pairs, who are we kidding. Deck me out in Coach and I would be thrilled. But then after hours (totally not kidding) of sorting through all the red glasses, then all the rectangle glasses, I finally got down to 3 (that means 6) pairs of glasses and let my husband decide. He choose the Vogue pair. (They say Oval but lets just go with my idea of rectangle.)
Designer Frames + Lenses + Transitions +Free Shipping= $218 shipped (I just uploaded a photo of my Kate Reese glasses)
I kept choosing red because I needed to go out of my comfort zone of grey and black. Those look great on me of course but at 31, its time to just go wild and add some color to my pale face. Not to mention I have red hair now (1000% natural…cough).
My Vogue eyeglasses arrived in a very nice case and were better quality than the pair I bought in Italy. I can’t even joke about that. It was seriously the 1st thing that came to my mind when I tried them on. They have now become my everyday pair. (Not only because I had a new eye exam before ordering them and apparently with old age comes older eyes.)

Side note- every time I say I have a pair of Vogue eyeglasses I just want to do those little hand motions over my face like Madonna!
