My take: The more time we spend with Lotty the more impressed we become. As by “we” I mean the big boys as well. Lotty is simply the most adorable creature I have ever seen. Her head is super soft and cuddly, her body cushions all who lay on it and her interactive features are truly impressive. Since my baby girl is only 8 weeks old she spend the majority of time laying on her back being quite entertained by the gym arches and its clever toys. Each toy is brightly colored and are very easy to remove (they are attached via velcro and not those darn plastic rings that I never could easily don/doff). Each toy has its own special feature (rattle, squeak, etc). The center mirror is large enough that an infant can easily locate it and the gym arches come off within a minute which is another great feature.
I can’t wait for tummy time activities (which is something I never thought I would state since my boys hated tummy time) because of all the fun interactive features Lotty has to offer. You can press her head to hear music and phrases, spin a flower around, activate a squeaking sound, find a hidden mirror, make a vibrating noise and make balls rattle and activate lights and music. I have never seen a playmat have such a variety of options and I love the fact that Lotty will remain a must have for years to come. I say years since I keep having to shoo the 4 and 6 year old off Lotty so the baby can lay on her. Both boys have spent many an TV show sprawled on Lotty “since she is so comfortable Mom”, something I love to see!
Here are a couple of pictures of my kids checking Lotty out:
