Mabel’s Labels: Back to School

This coming Wednesday my six year old starts first grade….I can’t believe how quickly summer has flown by!  I was very grateful for the opportunity to work with Mabel’s Labels to get us on the right track for school supplies!

From socks to sippy cups, boots to blankets, t-shirts to toys– the losses were endless! After years of chasing after her children’s belongings at daycare, school and friends’ houses, Julie Cole decided she had to do something. She got together with three female family members and created Mabel’s Labels,to make fun, durable labels for the stuff kids lose!

We had the opportunity to review the Ultimate Back-to-School Combo:

We also reviewed the  Preschool Shoe Labels:

As tough as they are cute, Preschool Shoe Labels identify footwear and help small kids tell their left feet from their right. Pre-readers can simply match the halves of familiar shapes, making learning – and dressing – fun! Personalize with a name and choice of 5 sweet designs, including: butterfly, turtle, star, lightning bolt and soccer ball.

Features:

  • Waterproof
  • UV resistant
  • Peel and stick to footwear
  • Satisfaction guaranteed

My take:  I have had the privilege of working with Mabel’s Labels in the past and can tell you this company is a lifesaver when it comes to labeling school supplies, especially when the school requires each and every pencil labeled…oh how I love the Skinny-Minnis! The process of ordering is simple, quick and easy and allows your student to have a personalized label which they are quick to recognize!  As for the preschool shoe labels, with so many preschoolers having the same shoes, this was a quick and easy alternative to having my four year old finally recognize his pair of shoes!
