Since finally adding a patio set on our back porch, it has become a staple of relaxation for our family. There is just something about sitting outside and watching the squirrels and birds scurry around. Even though I can hear the voices of 10 children in the background playing & yelling, it almost drowns them out.
With my nana here, we just grab a glass of lemon water or coffee, sit down and prop our feet up. There is nothing like feeling that weight of the world come off with a special spot and good company. Chatting for hours while the kids roast marshmallows, the dogs run around or the rain rolls in.
