Pali Baby and Children Furniture: Torino Crib
With the due date of my third child rapidly approaching, to say the least my nesting instinct in in full force. I have been searching for months (literally since I knew I was pregnant) for the perfect crib for this baby and I found it in Pali.
Four generations of our family have been making furniture: 100 years ago our workshop made everything by hand. It now features the most modern technology. The same priceless experience we have obtained over the years by producing chairs we now apply to making cribs and dressers. Pali has become a leader in the industry, noted for our ability to be innovative and our attention to detail.
Our originality and positive and dynamic vision towards the future are family characteristics that are derived from our will, commitment, willingness to learn and improve, and to care. Although everything has changed in production methods, styles and tastes, one thing still remains: the desire for a well-made product. Our beautiful Italian crafted children’s furniture is the result of four generations of hard work and tradition. Each piece is created with as much attention and devotion as it was in our first workshop at our family home in 1919. Pali understands what children need to feel safe and comfortable, and what parents need to have peace of mind.
I received the Torino crib in Mocacchino:
I was so impressed with the crib that my husband and I decided to purchase the Double Dresser to complement the crib:
My take: Pali sent the crib to its local distributor USA Baby of Louisville where my husband and I went to pick it up. It immediately dawned on me the quality of this furniture when my husband and an employee lifted this crib into a back of a borrowed truck. This crib was extremely heavy as well as the dresser. The ladies at USA Baby Louisville (especially Paula) were a pleasure to work with.
Once we got the furniture safely home then next step was assembly. My poor husband can’t keep up with my nesting demands of things being completed immediately (poor guy) and my in-laws graciously offered to assemble my furniture. To our surprise there were very few pieces to assemble and those that required assembly were completed in a very short time. I remember putting the boys’ crib together and it took us forever because there was a million pieces and the instructions were horrible. The instructions for Pali were well illustrated and both pieces were completed with minimal fuss.
Here are some pictures of the finished pieces:
The quality is top notch and the overall look is striking and elegant which is exactly what I was looking for! These two pieces will be used until she is and adult (and beyond). I love how the crib can convert into a toddler bed and then a big bed with the addition of rails which really makes this worth the cost.

Wow, what a beautiful set. It makes me miss having a baby and nursery to decorate.
This really does look lovely and you don’t see that sort of woodwork very often these days. If I didn’t know any better I’d probably assume it was a very beautifully restored antique.
