New Snapfish 11×14 Lay-Flat Photo Book

I love taking pictures of the kids but am not a big fan of having pictures of myself taken.  Sound familiar?  Well my husband has been wanting to take family pictures for a while now and I just kept putting it off, especially since I am so pregnant.  To my surprise (and yes I will admit it a little irritation too) my husband set up a family photo shoot in the outdoors with a local photographer.  I don’t know why I didn’t have the photos completed sooner since they are amazing.  When Snapfish asked if I would like to review their new Snapfish 11×14 Lay-Flat Photo Book I knew it was meant to be!

My take:   I am really impressed at all the options available to make this book.  Once you have uploaded your desire photos the real fun begins.  You can pick out the design cover of your book and the overall design of the book.  The best feature…you are not limited to once design, with a simple click of a button you have every background page available for your choosing.  You can pick full page layout, two pictures, etc in a variety of poses which is another great option.  Want to add text?  Not a problem with text boxes available on each page.

It took awhile for me to be satisfied with my layout (only because I am super picky with background colors, the ease of the Snapfish site made it that much more enjoyable to me).  Within a week my book arrived and I couldn’t be happier.  First I have never had an 11×14 book and love how big it is, the details that are important to me- the boys’ grins, twinkles in their eyes, etc really stand out to me.  The quality of the photos really shine through- crisp and clear.  Best of all- the pages lay flat so I feel like I get the “whole” picture which I really love!
