Another few weeks on the greatest treadmill ever.
So last month I told you about how I have to change up my diet. Well, to be honest that diet has had it’s good and bad days. Some days I am just craving a darn burger and other days, I am totally fine on just veggie snacks. I have been on an emotional roller coaster with it. But I haven’t given up! Even when the scale stopped moving, I kept going. I set a goal for myself to finally finish 2 miles on my Smooth Fitness treadmill.
I put on these new exercise pants called Hot Pants by Zaggora and got my butt back on the treadmill. Thank god that thing has a fan by the way. I put the iPad on there, some music, and started off. I did little spurts of running and wogging (my term for a fast walk). Let me tell you those Hot Pants made me sweat so bad that I had water dripping down my legs. They felt so amazing that i just felt encouraged to continue. I pushed on until I finally hit 2 miles at 43:44. Not a fast time in the least, but my 1st 2 miles! I actually felt that I could have kept going but instead I got right off the treadmill and took my daughter for a 1 mile bike ride. Still in my Hot Pants. When I took those bad boys off finally, I think I peeled off 10 pounds right there! Amazing pants I am telling you.
After all the tears, sweat (and extreme knee pain because I’m old) I have lost 8 pounds now combining my diet with my exercise. At my doctors office, the scale of death actually said I lost 10 pounds but I never believe that thing since it screams bad numbers at you any other time. I am thrilled with 8 pounds right now because I am just 1 pound from being in the 160s group.
