Energizer Utility Cash Review and Giveaway

Energizer recently filled me in on a special project they are working on in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity. I have volunteered for Habitat for Humanity previously and it was an extremely rewarding experience, one that I hold dear to my heart. As such, I am so thrilled and honored to fill you in on the details of the Energizer & Habitat for Humanity partnership as well:

For decades Energizer has supported organizations helping to make a positive impact in local communities and around the world. This spring as part of the Energizer campaign—that’s positivenergy—they’re “building” on that commitment in a new way through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity®. Working with baseball legend and philanthropist Cal Ripken, Jr., Energizer is donating more than $300,000 and 1,000 volunteer hours to Habitat through a multi-city series of volunteer projects to help build new homes and revitalize existing homes for those in need.

Here’s where you can get involved.  With the rising cost of utilities, we can all use a little bit of help right?  Especially if we have a really hot summer!  So, beyond helping Habitat, Energizer is doing something to help us all out.  In addition to the series of volunteer projects, you will see the Energizer and Habitat for Humanity partnership coming to the shelves of your favorite stores. Through the Energizer Utility Cash program, you can collect codes from select Energizer battery and lighting products and redeem them online for savings, up to $25 total savings each per person/household/email address, off your own utility bill.  You start earning rewards with just two codes and will need 10 codes total to earn the full $25.  Or you can help make a positive impact and choose to turn the codes into a donation to Habitat for Humanity®.

Now you can see why I just had to share this opportunity! To help kick-start your own utility bill savings (or to kick-start your donation to Habitat for Humanity!) Energizer would like to offer one very lucky Mommy PR reader two specially-marked packages of Energizer® MAX AA batteries. As always, Energizer batteries are dependable, long-lasting batteries that can be used all throughout your house! Don’t forget to enter your codes online to collect your rewards…just visit www.nowthatspositivenergy.com/utilities to enter your codes!

About the Author

My name is Megan and I’m a unique reviewer for Mommy PR – I don’t have any kids yet, but one day I hope to. The majority of my days are spent at my 9 to 5 day job and I spend most of my evenings in culinary school! In September 2012 I will graduate as a pastry chef. Even though work and school consume most of my time, I enjoy spending any and all free time in the kitchen baking up something delicious and fattening. My other favorite activies include traveling and working out.
