P&G: Tide Pods Review & Giveaway

Have you ever used an innovation that made your life infinitely simpler?  To me the best innovation in the world is the dishwasher.  We are big proponents of staying at home to eat meals since the effort needed to help our children behave in restaurants is just often too much.  That being said the amount of dishes and  pans to make and eat a meal is astounding at times.  With the dishwasher, life is so much easier, instead of spending enormous amounts of time washing dishes I am able to spend more time with my family and let the dishwasher do the work.

Now the one task that consistently haunts me is laundry.  No matter how much I get done, the next day there is always more!!  I recently had the opportunity to review P&G’s new Tide Pods

P&G learned that many people have become completely disengaged with the laundry process and disappointed with inconsistent results. New Tide Pods are a convenient, unit dose laundry detergent that looks unlike anything seen in the marketplace.

Faced with more than 900 different possible conditions in each load, laundry can be complicated! Tide PODS are designed to work in the most challenging laundry conditions, and make the task simpler and less time-consuming. With the introduction of Tide Pods, Tide aims to do the impossible – elevate laundry from a frustrating chore to a delightful and rewarding experience.

Tide Pods are also designed for easy use in any type of washer, with any size load. Simply place a pac into the drum of a front or top-loader before your items to be washed and experience the great clean you expect from Tide without the need to measure, pour or clean up messy spills.

Innovation that Improves Daily Life

  • Get Small: Tide Pods offer the power of Tide in the palm of your hand, giving you the proper dose each time you do laundry. They are compacted to use less water than traditional detergents. Tide Pods packages also weigh approximately 50% less than comparable packages of liquid detergent – making them much easier to carry and use!
  • Get Multi: Tide Pods’ new, patented three chamber design helps to separate such ingredients as hard water modifiers, stain fighters, perfume and whitener so that they remain stable and potent and mix only in wash water. This allows the Tide Pods to deliver a deep-down clean in a range of conditions.
  • Get Cold: 40% of Americans do their laundry in cold water more often than not in an effort to save time and money. In response to this, Tide Pods are made with a new, best-in-class film that dissolves and works effectively in all water temperatures – even in very cold water!

My take:  Anything that makes my life easier I am all for trying…as for the Tide Pods, I simply adore them.  Simply toss in with your laundry, set the settings for your washer and walk away.  Much, much easier than lugging the heavy bottles, trying to measure the correct amount while your youngest child hangs on you!  I also love the wide capability of these pods which works in all temperatures.

I am currently in the midst of laundry and I have been using these Tide Pods with great success….my clothes are clean and they are so simple to use!
