Learning Curve: Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway Thomas and Belle to the Rescue Set Review & Giveaway
My boys were so thrilled to be able to review Learning Curve’s: Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway Thomas and Belle to the Rescue Set, especially after just meeting Belle from watching The Day of the Diesels.
Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway Thomas and Belle to the Rescue Set
Inspired by the CG-animated DVD movie “Day of the Diesels”, Thomas and Belle to the Rescue Set introduces a new engine, Belle. Help Belle save the day as she chuffs her way up and over the bridge to the Farm Shed, where she whooshes water out of water cannons on her boiler to put the fire out. Then take Belle to the water tanker where she can fill up. Ages: 3 and up. SRP: $79.99
My take: We have never had the pleasure of playing with the wooden Thomas trains and playsets and when I say pleasure I do mean pleasure. Around 3 years ago I found one heck of a deal on die-cast Thomas trains and the boys have been playing with them. They are so heavy that I cringe each time once is thrown in the air in fear that it will land on someone’s head. The wooden trains and tracks are super light and superbly crafted. Belle is “exactly like the movie Mom” and the water tanker has the great feature of the spout going up and down.
The boys also enjoy “lighting and washing out the fire” of the Farm Shed.
I like how simple the entire set was to up together (5 minutes flat). The only thing I wish differently was that the Farm Shed and water tank attached to the rails.
Learning Curve is generously offering 1 very lucky MommyPR reader their very own Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway Thomas and Belle to the Rescue Set!
