With my birthday here (cough, today actually) we decided to use this time to celebrate with the big mouse himself. What is more fun than pizza, drinks, and lots of family fun! We have been going to Chuck E Cheese much more regularly now, and I swear we could tell when the pizza recipe changed. It was almost like looking at each other and going “hum this taste fresh & new!”.
Chuck E. Cheese’s has some very exciting news for all the fun-loving pizza aficionados out there! For the first time since the company began entertaining families more than 30 years ago, Chuck E. Cheese’s has completely upgraded its pizza recipe!
With fresh cheese and dough, and high-quality toppings, this cheesier, crispier, tastier pizza is sure to please the palate of pizza lovers both young and old.
The new pizza features fresh, never-frozen dough, a crispier crust, fresh vegetables and 100-percent natural mozzarella cheese, freshly-grated in Chuck E. Cheese’s kitchens every day. Together, these ingredients make a “much-kneaded” recipe for a cheesier, crispier, tastier version of the childhood favorite – no matter how you slice it!
While the original recipe was loved by many families and even took a spot in the nation’s top seven pizza brands in a study by Brand Keys, Chuck E. Cheese’s saw “mushroom for improvement” and formulated the new recipe to accommodate the changing tastes of parents and children alike. By replacing the former blend of frozen cheeses with freshly-grated, 100-percent mozzarella and ensuring the freshness of the crust, Chuck E. Cheese’s has redefined the flavor of family fun with a consistently great-tasting pizza.

We ordered the same as always, a half pepperoni and half cheese pizza. For some reason we can never get a whole pepperoni and let the girls pick them off their side so we can have double. The pizza’s are a nice size too. Enough for 5 of us actually, about 10 slices. To us, we tasted a more authentic tasting pizza. Yum!!
Our family loves Chuck E Cheese anymore. It has slowly grown on us. But now that we know how to find the deals on tokens (check your Sunday paper, Chuck E Cheese newsletter & the coupon section on their website), it makes it easier on the wallet!
