Total Gym Total Mom Challenge Set Up

If you didn’t know already, I am on the Total Gym Total Mom Challenge Team! You can read my first post and see my start up video here.
Basically so far I have read through my booklets and watched every time the Chuck Norris Info-commercial has come on. We have tried it out a few times. I have to say that my husband pretty much laughed at the idea of the Total Gym XLS until it arrived. Once he tried it out, he was hooked. He actually likes something I like. Amazing.
The unboxing was very simple. It required no tools. You simply open the box and pop it up into place. It came with a few DVDs, work out routine cards (which are my favorite because they separate women from men), a huge poster size workout chart, and some all too funny Chuck Norris jokes. “When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks his closet for Chuck Norris“. Seriously.
Total Gym also sent the bloggers some extra accessories to attach to the gym.
The whole concept of Total Gym is to use your own body as the weights; at different inclines. I think its a brilliant idea and the different ways you can use the machine is so simple. Simply turning your arms a different direction or setting the incline lower/higher is a whole new ball game.
I wasn’t sure if i was going to be able to lift myself up like it showed on TV (just because I have gone that round before. You know, like how most info-commercials sell you something you can never use…). However this was actually nice, easy to use, and I believe will show results. But then again.. I am not arguing with Chuck Norris!

  1. I don’t think I want to argue with Chuck Norris, either. So glad your Hubs likes it as well. Mine does, too!

You know that is one thing, I dislike about those infomercials, is they try to make a product look better then what it really is. I have a few things I use to work out with and they are a pain! I don’t know if I would be able to do the total gym until I lost a few more pounds!

Thanks for showing us that the commercial isn’t all hype.
