Sears Outlet: Wine Cellar Review & Coffee Maker Giveaway
When you think of Sears Outlet, you might automatically assume they only have the big appliances available at discount prices such as refrigerators, washers and dryers, riding lawn mowers, ovens and stoves. You’ll be pleasantly surprised to learn that the deep discounts are also available on small appliances and home items! For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been reviewing the Kenmore 6 Bottle Wine Cellar. Regular price for the wine cellar is $139.99, but Sears Outlet offers it at a 57% discount for $59.99! Talk about savings!
I’m not a huge wine connoisseur, but I occasionally enjoy a nice glass of dessert wine at the end of my day. This works out perfectly because dessert wines are whites, and whites are served chilled. Of course, when I took my picture of the wine cellar on my counter, I only had reds on hand. I stuck them in there for the picture, but have plans to stock up on some whites soon!
Some of the great selling features of the Kenmore 6 Bottle Wine Cellar are:
- Electronic programmable thermostat
- Accommodates both red and white wines
- Countertop design means it fits perfectly on top of most kitchen counters
- Ultra-quiet, vibration-free design
And for someone like me who has wine on hand but doesn’t need a huge wine cooler, this 6 bottle size is perfect!

When I brought the wine cellar to its brand new home, I was a bit concerned about the size of the mini-refrigerator. It’s labeled as a countertop model, but I have limited counter space in my kitchen already, so I wasn’t sure if the wine cellar would fit or if it’d take up too much precious room. Luckily, I was able to fit it perfectly in a small space between the wall and my dish strainer next to the sink. Of course I complained that the electrical outlet was in a bad place because if it was just a ½ inch higher, I would have been able to push the wine cellar all the way up against the wall. There’s not much I can do about that, but other than that the wine cellar made a nice addition to my kitchen counter! The thermostat is easy to program and easy to understand, the fact that it holds both red and white wines makes it incredibly functional, and the quiet design is great so there’s no constant humming coming from the kitchen counter! The wine cellar has made a great addition to my kitchen appliance collection and will be put to good use!
