Noodle & Boo Review

facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedin

I was recently offered the opportunity to review some products from the Noodle and Boo line.  I was interested to see what products I would receive for review and was thrilled to receive three of them!  I loved the products from Glowology that I just reviewed and was pretty much figuring these would be just as impressive.

Inspired by her children’s need for products developed for ultra-sensitive skin, Christine Burger founded Noodle & Boo. Working with professionals who specialize in natural, holistic skin care each exclusive formula is developed to nourish, replenish and protect especially delicate and sensitive skin. The company is lovingly named after Christine’s two young children, Andrew and Matthew, also known as Noodle and Boo.*

The first product I received was the Play-Day Sunscreen SPF-30.  This was a much needed product around here with the strong and HOT southern sun!  My youngest daughter (the one with the super sensitive skin) goes to day camp.  Each day they spend a couple of hours out in the sun swimming or playing at local parks.  Sunscreen is an absolute must for us and we apply it daily before  she leaves and then they apply it at camp again in the afternoon.

About Play-Day Sunscreen: Nurtures and moisturizes young skin while providing maximum protection.  Our pediatrician-tested, aloe and vitamin E fortified sunscreen goes on effortlessly and dries quickly.  Let your little one have worry-free fun in the sun with this lightweight sunscreen.

  • Lightweight, non-oily, and water resistant.
  • SPF 30.
  • Nurtures and moisturizes skin while providing maximum protection.
  • Fortified with aloe and vitamin E.
  • Quick drying.
  • Dermatologist and pediatrician tested; hypoallergenic.
  • 4-ounce tube.
  • Arrives in signature pink/blue packaging.
  • APR $22.00

My Thoughts: Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!  The sunscreen goes on nice and easy, absorbs pretty quickly into the skin and my daughter was not trying to squirm away from me, like she does with many scented sunscreens.  I also love it for myself because I have developed a sensitivity to some sunscreens, but this one just feels great!

The second product that I received was the Bouncing Baby Bubbles.   I don’t normally let my girls take baths because it can cause some urinary tract irritation, and that is just not fun to deal with.  So they have both learned to take showers at a young age, but every once in a while they get the treat of a bath.  Let me just tell you that they were both thrilled to see this product in the box I received!

About Bouncing Baby Bubbles: Formulated with mild bubbling agents to minimize the risk of allergic reaction.  Our pediatrician-tested bubble bath is enriched with gentle and effective moisturizers leaving skin extra soft and smooth.  Avoid bath time struggles by adding gentle bubbles to bath time.

  • Enriched with light moisturizers.
  • Mild bubbling agent formulated to minimize risk of allergic reactions.
  • For ages six months and up.
  • Dermatologist and pediatrician tested; hypoallergenic.
  • 8-ounce bottle.
  • Arrives in signature pink/blue packaging.
  • ARV $14.00

My Thoughts: This is hands down my youngest daughters absolute favorite!  She LOVES the scent and even after her bath she walked around smelling her arm and telling me how great she smells!  My oldest daughter thought the scent was a little too “babyish” for her 10 year old self, but it did not cause any irritation (for either of them) what so ever – even after three consecutive nights of bubble baths as she continued to voluntarily use the product that was just a little too “baby” like for her!   It does remind me slightly of a fresh clean baby, swaddled up in a cozy soft towel – maybe that’s why I love it so much too!  You definitely will want to add this to your shopping list for any sweet new babies in your life, and especially children with sensitive skin!

The third product I received was the Perfecting Crème which comes from the “for the mama” line at Noodle & Boo.  This one is all for us ladies!

About the Perfecting CrèmeContains a sophisticated peptide compound that helps to prevent and reduce stretch marks while naturally promoting the synthesis of collagen, Ultra rich organic coco butter and avocado oil eave skin delightfully soft and smooth.  Scientific actives give us choices for beautiful results.

  • Promotes the synthesis of collagen and fibronectin while reducing the harmful effects of proteolytic enzymes that destroy elastin and collagen.
  • Ultra rich cocoa butter and avocado oil leave skin soft and smooth.
  • Consistency is very light, goes on smoothly and dries quickly.
  • Clinically-tested and hypoallergenic.
  • 3.5 ounce tube.
  • Arrives in signature box.
  • SRV $42.00

My Thoughts: I have actually had the opportunity to really try out this product.  Although I am not pregnant, I have been dealing with a medical issue which has my abdomen swelling up to 7 inches over its normal size throughout the day.  I can tell you that this Perfecting Crème has helped me so much in keeping my skin soft and flexible.  Thankfully I have not developed any stretch marks even though at times I look like I am about 8 months pregnant (just so you know – I am okay and we seems to be getting everything under control now).  This lotion is very soothing, smells soooo good and just feels wonderful to apply, I have been extremely grateful to have this crème for my swelling belly and know that any expecting mama would be just as thrilled with this product!
