Out brand new this week is it Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Transforming Eyebrow Pencil with Brow Enhancing Technology. I have had the opportunity to try this new product out for the past couple of weeks before the launch! Now you may just be thinking a brow pencil is a brow pencil right? Wrong!
What makes it different? Working hand in hand with leading plastic surgeons, It Cosmetics introduces Brow Power, an anti-aging, universal eyebrow pencil with Brow Enhancing Technology in a universal shade that transforms and adjusts to all brow hair colors. the oval shaped tip creates the most natural looking, believable brow and is perfect for both thin and thick brows. The long-wear formula is waterproof and smudge-resistant. Our exclusive Brow Enhancing Complex uses a patent-pending blend of cutting-edge ingredients to target brow hair loss, and restore your brow hair follicle, promoting healthy hair growth.*
My Experience: I am not sure why but through the years my brows seem to have gotten lighter and thinner. When I see pictures of myself 20 years ago, I had really thick, full brows… I am not sure what happened – maybe years of over plucking or something. However, when I saw this product I started thinking maybe I am not the only one that has experienced something like this. There must be a need for an anti-aging brow pencil other than just my own! I have tried both brow pencils and brow wax, but you can see the product especially when I am out in the natural sunlight. Up until now I have found nothing that really impressed me.
To use the Brow Power pencil you just apply light soft strokes to match light hair and harder darker strokes to match darker hair. Before I applied the Brow Power I assumed you would just see brown pencil lines that didn’t quite match my own color, just like the other pencils I have tried. This time though that was not the case – I applied medium to firm pressure and was amazed to see the color match my brows perfectly! Once I lightly brushed through my brows with the spooley brush I had full, polished, natural looking brows. The pencil itself is oval shaped and applies smoothly and blends easily.

My Thoughts: Not only is It Cosmetics Brow Power easy to apply, it held up in our 90+ degree heat without smudging, smearing or running even through my sweaty workout sessions! This product is simply AMAZING and since using it the thin spots in my brows are actually filling in and growing! Not only does it look natural and fabulous on, but now even when I don’t use it – my brows remain fuller and thicker. I should have taken before and after pictures because the difference is amazing! I admit I was slightly deterred when I saw the $24 retail price for Brow Power, but that was before I actually tried out the product! This is one that I absolutely would pay a little more for, because the results completely blow away any other brow product I have ever tried!
