Physicians Formula Review

I have just recently discovered (after years of sticking with the same products) that I love trying out new makeup!  When I was offered the chance to try some products from Physicians Formula, I was pretty excited to give them a try.  Here is what I received:

Bronze Booster Self-Tanning Bronzing Veil

My Thoughts: I was pretty excited to see this in the package I had received because I had tested out some self-tanner a while back, but had nothing for the face.  This was the first product that I tried and applied it just as directed but had to leave the house before I felt like I should apply  make up – so I went without.  In the bathroom mirror my face had a nice natural looking glow so I figured I was safe to go.  However, once I was in the car I checked the mirror and was a little shocked to see that I looked like I had just left a princess party with my daughter!  I was glittery all over my face and just had to laugh, but I also took a few swipes at my face to remove some of the shimmer.  The glow left behind though after the shimmer was removed was a natural looking sun kissed glow.  I love the color and the self tan lasted for a few days and faded gradually.  Over all this is a really nice product, however personally I would go for a little less shimmer.

My Thoughts: This foundation offers an SPF of 50 which is great for the strong southern sun!  I did not have any problems with my super sensitive skin and also appreciate that this product is fragrance free!  With the high SPF I was worried that this might be a bit drying to my skin, but it felt soft and light while I was wearing it.  I love a matte finish on my makeup and this one looks soft and natural with great even coverage!  Love it!!

Organic wear™ 100% Natural Origin Bronzer

Description

My Thoughts: This is a great fun product for summer!  A soft bronze matte finish is just a couple brush strokes away when you keep this product on hand.  Simple and quick for easy touch ups and a bit of color on the go and a new favorite of mine!

Shimmer Strips Custom Bronzer, Blush & Eye Shadow

My Thoughts: I know when I was talking about the bronzing veil that I said I didn’t like a lot of shimmer.  However, this absolutely does not apply to the eyeshadow!  I absolutely love the colors and sparkle of the shimmer strips custom bronzer.  This has replaced my favorite eye shadow and knowing how much I love duel use products – it also doubles as a facial bronzer too!

Overall I found these to be great summer makeup products and the price is great too!  I think I have overlooked the possibility that I could find really good make up products available at a drug store or Target.  I am looking forward to trying out some other products especially from the Organic Wear line and at these prices I won’t be so worried about experimenting with something new!  Here is a photo of me wearing all the products listed above:
