Jockey Shapewear Review & Giveaway + Grand Prize

Jockey has sent me so many items to try out. My first review was on undies, active wear and kids items. Now i am back again, but this time with a product ever woman needs and wants. Its funny because whether you are a 0 or 20, every woman wants Shapewear. It can slim you down, flatten you out, and shape your curves. Its like icing on a cake, you never know how bad you messed that darn thing up, because you can lather on that cream cheese and it looks (and tastes) like sweet victory.

With my husband coming home, i know 2 things, one he doesn’t know i have gained weight yet, and two, i want to fit into the dress i bought (that you, the readers selected!). Jockey decided to send me several pieces to try out. I have my favorites, but i will show you each piece and what i thought about it.

Jockey Slip Shaper

This piece felt so nice on. However when i would sit and the get up, i would need to readjust it the right way. But it did make me look so much better in the mirror from the side.

Jockey Lace Applique V-Neck Shaper
The lace set was beautiful and functional. You can wear this under another shirt or even as a peek-a-book piece. No one would ever know that it was actually a slimwear product. It fit great, it felt great and when paired with a push up bra, i was feeling slamming. I tucked my top into the shapewear leggings to keep it in place but it didn’t ride up like i thought it would.

Two Way Scoop & V-neck Cami

This cami threw me off when i first touched it. If you have ever seen “laser cut edges” you know what i am talking about. I thought i had just received a non finished top, maybe turned inside out? It looked very different from what i expected. However i learned this is what its suppose to look like, so that it leaves no edge lines. It was my favorite cami. It was lightweight, very form fitting to hold everything in, plus you can wear it front or back because its reversible for different shirt styles.

Jockey Hi Wasit Mini Brief

These were amazing on the tummy. I honestly think this pair had the best tummy and butt control. You really feel as if you just went down 3 sizes. In fact, Recessionista had sent me some killer jeans that i was just a tad too big to button, and had sat in my closet. I knew i would somehow get into them. Well when i put on this brief, i thought i would see if it really slimmed me down enough to get in those jeans. I was ecstatic to not only get in them, button them, but i put on my heels they sent me and felt like a million dollars when i went out. Best slimmer ever.

Jockey Mini With Lace Applique Shaper

This shaper made me laugh when i first tried to put them on. When you see a pair of shapers, they look like they wouldn’t fit on a cabbage patch doll. So i figured these have to be the wrong size. But they were a Large, so i started off with a leg in. I tell you, you never feel so fat than when you are squeezing into these. My mom asked what its like, i said its like putting Santa down a tail pipe sized chimney. (LOL!). When you are finally in them though, they don’t feel constricting. They honestly feel perfect, you can feel them holding everything in where its suppose to be. When you go to take them off, you will laugh at how you feel. I was cracking up because i felt like 2 different people. I was this hot feeling skinny (in my mind) girl with my slimmer on, and when i took it off, it was like omg where did this blubber come from? As if it was lost and forgotten the whole day. Another one of my favorite pieces.

Well now you know why Jockey made my Top 10 products i have reviewed this year.
