My Thoughts: This book has taken me longer to get through than most because it is filled with so much information! The book has two parts. Part one is a four day detox that focuses on flushing out toxins and feeding your body as it cleanses and restores balance. Part two is a structured meal and exercise plan that is designed to phase out toxic ingredients and additives in the food you are currently eating. The purpose of part two is to clear out the accumulated food poisons, combat fat and prepare your body for a longer, healthier life.
In the book Supa Nova Slom tells us all the things that are wrong with the foods that are so popular today and are a daily intake for most of us. He clearly give us facts on the nutritional value of the foods we are consuming as well as the contaminates such as heavy metals, plastics, pesticides, antibiotics and so on. I have already given up red meat, but what I learned from THE REMEDY only reinforced that decision. I am not sure if I will follow the whole program, but my new knowledge has already influenced my nutritional choices. Overall, I think THE REMEDY is a great addition to your Health and Nutrition library!

To encourage healthy eating I have slowly eliminated certain foods -like prepared meals, processed foods and replaced with whole, natural foods.

I am borderlne diabetes. Now, I do not put anything in my body with loads of sugar period. I eat carbs like pumpernickel or rye bread only. I only eat sweet potatoes/yams instead of white potatoes. I only drink, water, milk and my coffee in the morning. This book sounds awesome.

I try to put a lot of fiber into meals. This usually means more steamed or quick-fried veggies. And is I make a dessert, it's usually one made with fruits.
