New West Knifeworks Review & Giveaway

The knife below, ladies (and gentlemen, if there are any reading this review) is the gorgeous Fusionwood Chef 8 knife! Isn’t she a beauty? I’d say it’s perfection made of wood and steel; more accurately, this kitchen miracle worker is made of premium high-carbon Japanese stainless steel. New West Knifeworks labels the Chef 8 knife as the “light saber” of kitchen knifes, and I wholeheartedly agree with them.

I received the Fusionwood Chef 8 knife to review after explaining to New West Knifeworks that I’m a chef-in-training. They automatically recommended the Chef 8 knife, and I’m so glad they did. This knife is a dream knife – sturdy construction, quality materials, unique one-of-a-kind handle design, and extreme chopping precision. It’s my go-to knife in the kitchen now since all my other knifes are like sticks compared to this MacDaddy of knives! This knife could be a valuable asset in any kitchen whether you’re an experienced culinary professional, and up and coming chef, or someone who simply enjoys the pleasures of cooking while using qulaity kitchen products.

New West Knifeworks offers a wide variety of knifes, from paring and bread knifes to steak and santoku (traditional Japanese) knifes. With two distinct knife categories, you’re able to pick a beautiful, unique knife. The Phoenix knives are “Japanese kitchen knives with a Western flair” (New West) and allow you choose earthy handles with matching blades in stunning designs. The Fusionwood knives are all made with the same high-carbon stainless steel and wood veneer handles as the Chef 8 knife, pictured above. The Fusionwood knives allow you to choose vibrantly unique wood handles. Then, once you have your new collection of knives, New West Knifeworks’ website offers helpful tools and videos for you to optimize use of your knives. And, if you need to contact New West Knifeworks, they are quick (and I mean quick) to respond to your question/comment/request! I was thoroughly impressed with New West’s comminucation and quick responses…two thumbs up for New West Knifeworks!
