One on One (Tony Horton) Plyo Legs Review

Volume 1, Disc 9: Plyo Legs
Length: About 64 Minutes
Plyo Legs: This workout seems pretty familiar with many of the same moves from P90X Legs and Back plus Plyo. There are lots of breaks in this workout, which I would prefer to skip so that it can be a shorter workout. Tony seems to have kind of a hard time with this one, but he does mention that he has been sick, so maybe that is part of it. I really could have done without the spitting, it was pretty disgusting. I think they could have somehow edited that out without anyone complaining that we are not getting the full “workout with Tony as is” feel.
Overall I think this is a great leg workout with a lot of different exercises – about 65 minutes total. Tony does his warm up before the DVD starts so the workout starts right out with a stretch. You will want to do a warm up before you put this one in.
Here’s the 20 exercises you will be doing:
Calf Raise Squats
Run Stand Squat
Superskater
Sidelong Jump with squat
Wall Squat
Superstar Lunge using a medicine ball
Groucho Walk
Run stance squat switch
Deadlift squats
Leapfrog squats with the medicine ball
Chair Salutation
4 Corner jumps
Single Leg Wall Squat
Tires
Rolling ISO lunge
Squat Jacks
Slide Lunge reach
Run stance 180 jump switch
One legged speed squats
The Eagan Brother
This will give you a really good leg workout and you don’t need any extra equipment to do it (you can use a medicine ball, but it can easily be done without it).

I have the Power 90 DVD's but have not ventured out to PX90 or any other of Tony Horton;s DVD's. I love that you tell us what kinds of exercises to expect. I need this because I have a bad knee and can only do so many lunges in one workout. Thanks for the review.
