Sara Lee: Soft and Smooth Bread Review & Giveaway

As parents many of us know the importance of DHA Omega-3 for babies but I was unaware that Sara Lee has introduced 2 new breads containing Omega-3.  First a little about Sara Lee:

 Both varieties contain 12mg of DHA Omega-3 per two-slice serving – at least 10% of what is recommend by experts for kids age 1-13 years. Research shows that a DHA plays a role in the normal development and functioning of the brain.

Many children and their parents don’t always care for the taste of whole grain foods so finding nutritious bread the whole family will enjoy can be tricky. Sara Lee Soft & Smooth™ provides moms the nutrition they want for their kids along with the soft texture, mild taste, and light color kids prefer. My take:  I was able to try both the Whole Wheat and Whole Grain White Bread.   I am the only one in my family that will eat wheat bread and I really liked the Sara Lee Soft and Smooth Wheat Bread.  I have used it for toast, sandwiches and bread toppings for pork chops and have been very pleased.  The rest of my family devoured the Whole Grain White Bread in less than a week.   My soon to be 4 year old says “wow this is soft bread, Mommy” every time he ate it with his peanut butter and jelly.  My favorite part- the family doesn’t even realize it contains Omega-3.
