Novica also has a new corporate section which has the largest online collection of handcrafted fair trade corporate gifts, including items for client gifts, conference gifts, sales incentives, employee recognition and awards. I used to work at a big hospital and I would have loved receiving a gift certificate to Novica for employee recognition!
My take: I have never seen so many unique and wonderful products on one site. These artists and artisians come from the regions of Andes, Bali and Java, Brazil, Central America, India, Mexico, Thailand and West Africa. I have always loved wood sculptures and as soon as I saw Moment of Tenderness I knew I wanted it. The wood is smooth, exquisite detailing and a gorgeous color. I was surprised at how heavy it was and I absolutely love it. The packaging of this item was unexpected….it was the best wrapped gift I have ever received. Layers and layers of protective wrapping, a gorgeous deep red wrapping and embellished with twine and a small figure (see picture below).
I let my mom pick out the second product and as expected she picked out a piece of jewelry (she LOVES necklaces). I was a little apprehensive about the necklace, thought it wouldn’t have been my pick but wow was I wrong. The pictures truly don’t do this necklace justice. The color is a warm brown and the stones of the flower sparkle and change colors from warm brown to light brown. The first thing my mom noticed was how nice the necklace laid…no shifting or twisting.
Shipping was very prompt and as soon as the packages arrived in the US, I was sent a tracking number.
