Me Time: Positive Day – Peaceful Night Review & Giveaway

I am pleased to be able to introduce you to Suzanne Jessee.  Suzanne is recognized as helping thousands of people nationwide to reduce and eliminate stress in their lives!

After years of suffering from panic disorders and other types of mental distress, Suzanne sought and utilized alternative-healing methods.  Suzanne Jessee now seeks to share her techniques with others, so that they too can successfully remove self limiting beliefs and move into emotional freedom and peace of mind.

I was sent the following CD for review:

“Me-Time” CD

POSITIVE DAY – PEACEFUL NIGHT

The Morning Time Cognitive Meditation and Imagery session is designed to help you start your day with a positive attitude about yourself and your life.

Within minutes of listening to your ME TIME Positive Day therapeutic session, you will have a positive frame of mind and be ready to greet your day with energy and optimism.

The Night Time Cognitive Meditation and Imagery session will guide you step by step into a physical and mental deeply relaxed state of being. You will then be guided to mentally lay the events of your day and the challenges of your tomorrow to rest so you can calm your mind and have a peaceful nights sleep.

ME TIME Peaceful Night will help you to awaken feeling more rested than ever before and with more energy to meet the opportunities of your day.

Insomnia relief!!!*

My Thoughts: I found it to be a much nicer way to start your day by waking up to the Positive Day portion of the CD, than my usual loud and obnoxious alarm clock!  Starting your day with the positive messages accompanied by relaxing music to gently nudge you awake and prepare you to face the day, most definitely sends you on your way with a calm and positive attitude.

If you have trouble settling down at night, the Peaceful Night portion of the CD may be just the thing to help you.  Honestly I made it through the first maybe 5 minutes (if that) of the approximately 15 minutes, before falling into a deep sleep.  It reminded me of the way one of my favorite yoga classes (years ago) would end with relaxation techniques, and I always fell asleep at the end of that class too.  In Me Time Peaceful Night Suzanne guides you through the process of physical and mental deep relaxation using a very soothing voice, gentle music and peaceful imagery.  I had to listen to the whole session early in the day in order to make it through without falling asleep in the middle of it.

I wish I had known about Suzanne Jessee’s programs several months ago when my husband had lost his job and we were so unsure about which direction to go.  We had many sleepless nights and loads of stress and I think this CD would have been great at helping me relax and release the tension during those hard months!

I also want to briefly touch on Suzanne Jessee’s history and her website Escape!

From Suzanne:Like many people suffering from panic disorders and other types of mental distress, I have history of childhood trauma that includes my parents cumulative 13 marriages and sexual abuse. I sought relief from my painful past, depression and anxiety by self-medicating with alcohol. However, by practicing the methods outlined in the Escape program, having a strong spiritual foundation and a compassionate support system of friends and family, I haven’t found it necessary to self-medicate with alcohol since 1994.

Escape is the culmination of my clinical understanding of panic disorder, paired with the absolute best alternative-healing method known to science for the reversal and prevention of panic disorder.

Today, I am free from anxiety and panic disorder.

Together, we will combine forces and travel out of panic captivity, and into emotional freedom and peace of mind with Escape.”*

While Me Time, Positive Day – Peaceful Night is for everyone, I also wanted to point out that there is much more available on Suzanne’s site regarding anxiety, panic, catastrophic thinking and obsessive worry and help for ways to gain control over our emotions.  In my years of working for Adult Foster Care Facilities, I am fully aware that many adults suffer from various types of mental distress, and many of them suffer in silence.  If you or someone you know suffers from severe depression, anxiety, panic disorder or debilitating fears please take the time to check out Escape!

Buy it: Me Time, Positive Day – Peaceful Night can be purchased from Suzanne’s website (www.SuzanneJessee.com) for $19.99.

Win it: I am happy to tell you that one (1) MommyPR reader will win their own copy of Me Time, Positive Day – Peaceful Night!
